As a solution to the above problem, we would like to create a mobile application which will act as a communication medium between the tourist and hotel/restaurant staff to translate the English language into Urdu or vice versa.
Project ObjectivesWe want to create an application which provides speech to speech translation facilities to tourists and hotel/restaurants, we want our application to provide better level of translation accuracy which makes tourists & staff experience better by preventing any kind of interpretation between each other. Translators must keep the essence of the source text, its content, its function, its cultural references, and at the same time they must approach the translation to the target audience, by making the content comprehensive, promoting the destination and making it closer to them.
Project Implementation MethodWe wil use Deep Learning to create our model. First of all we will collect the relevant data, After the process of collection data we will do data preprocessing to clean unauthentic or messy data which can affect our model.
When data is collected successfully, then we will train our model by using that data. We will experiment different values of hyperparameters for the tuning of our model, to achieve better accuracy.
We will use speech recognition to convert the audio into text, after that the text will do machine translation by our trained model from English to Urdu or vice versa, when the translation get completed then we will use speech syntesizer to convert the text into the audio.

- It provide staff the tool for effective, confident communication without showing any signs of anxiety.
The final form of our project will be in the form of Mobile Application by which our translation model of Deep Learning will be integrated through tensorflow lite to provide English to urdu or Urdu to English speech to speech translation in our mobile app. The mobile app will also support Speech recognition and Speech Synthesis, To provide speech to speech translation as well as text to text translation.
