This project gives all the automated and safety features. It controls more than one process simultaneously. On the other hand, the system does not require any additional measurement devices, it has built-in measurement algorithm and electronic devices.

Thus the “Automated Irrigation system based on soil moisture using Arduino” has been designed and tested successfully. It has been developed by integrated features of all the hardware components used. In this figure 9 is showing pin diagram of project. Presence of every module has been reasoned out and placed carefully, thus contributing to the best working of the unit. Thus, the Arduino Based Automatic Plant Watering System has been designed and tested successfully [5]. The system has been tested to function automatically. The moisture sensors measure the moisture level (water content) of the different plants. If the moisture level is goes to be below the desired and limited level, the moisture sensor sends the signal to the Arduino board which triggers the Water Pump to turn ON and supply the water to respective plant using the Rotating Platform/Sprinkler. When the desired moisture level is reached, the system halts on it’s own and the water Pump is turned OFF. Thus, the functionality of the entire system has been tested thoroughly and it is said to function successfully.

Project Objectives

We live in our current reality where everything can be controlled and worked naturally, however there are still a couple of vital segments in our nation where computerization has not been received or not been put to an incontestable utilization, maybe in dainty of a few reasons one such reason is expense. One such field is that of agricultural. Agricultural has been one of the essential occupations of man subsequent to right on time developments and even today manual interventions in cultivating are certain.

Project Implementation Method

Start by drawing a map of your garden and yard, showing the location of plantings. Measure the distances required for lengths of hose or plastic tubing to reach the desired areas. With a numerous fields of application and various advantages of the system has made it one of the major option available for the farmers. The increasing interest in this area of research may bring about more and more consumer efficient system. Water scarcity the major problem is well handled by the system. The changing climatic condition and global warming issues prevailing throughout the world can be overcome only through this system. The automatic irrigation system will be every farmer’s choice in a decade or so. The improper advertising was the sole reason for the late adoption and acquaintance of the system that took place in the late eighties. But with the awareness spreading all over the globe the system is earning acceptance and so, a number of scientist are investing their time to perfect the system.

Benefits of the Project

One of the advancement for the future is to provide the dual power supply to the system. Then the Automated irrigation system is going to become more intelligent and useful as time goes by, So you will have connected devices that interfacing to each other.

In future use of LIFI technology make it more efficient, through which we can connect our system to the Internet to monitor and control Automated irrigation system parameters efficiently. Furthermore, design of large range of sensors, which can be used to maintain much other system in the Field.

In future also use camera for security purpose, which monitor the activities in the irrigation system and can also resolve the privacy issues caused by networks. One other modification is to control devices and sensors by using advanced system.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We have designed a model of an Automated irrigation systemby using Iot, which is fabricated using high quality raw material to control and monitor the parameters in Smart Automated irrigation system. It can prevent the accident and hazards.we have used different sensors and Arduino Mega and also used mobile application to control each sensor functionality. The Arduino collects the data from sensors and makes decisions which depends on the condition inside the Smart Automated irrigation system.

After designing the Project, we run our project and observed the values of different parameters such as Light, Temperature, Gas leakage and Humidity and also point out  the working of operating system upon the certain conditions. After observation, the results of those parameters and grade of the actuators according to the set points are shown below in figures.
