Our project is basically totally industrial based that is for HIT, Taxila.
•The Heavy Industries Taxila is one of the largest defense products manufacturer and has grown into a military industrial complex since its foundation 1971.
•As we know that Heavy Industries Taxila is continuously involves in the development of heavy engineering works for military and civilian law enforcement agencies.
•They have assembly line is a production equipment that specializes, various assembly, inspection, marking, packaging in the later stages of product manufacturing.
•They might have assigning of their upcoming year’s project at the start of every year like how much tanks they have to made and what kind of model and designing they have to implement in that whole year. So these tanks has to be modeled in that assembly line.
Our main working objective for our project is given below in a short summary;
•The main objective of this project is to decrease time with minimum wastage of resources and increase productivity rate of tanks in Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT).
•We need to design our project in a such a way that manages the tank’s data as well as make their performance and productivity optimize in terms of time and resources.
Currently we have observed the working of Inventory and Assembly Line system so we are basically at the stage of deciding our main tools to be used for this project is going to be decided in a short period of time due to some technicalities going on in this project.
•For software automation we need to Online Monitoring Application for higher authorities of HIT to actually tracking the progress rate of the assigned task.
•Databases has to be maintained that are directly linked with the main store.
•Our online application should contain every single detail of the assigned task i.e. how many operations are actually implemented today? , in case of any delay what kind of delay occur and how to deal with it? , how much time will be required to resolve this delay?
Our Software that is our project is going to be implemented on the shops and as well as at the areas of Inventory and Assembly Line.
There will be several benefits that are going to be offered by us in this project, some of few are given below;
•The current method of HIT, Taxila is basically traditional file based approach . They need a management system to make files of every shop and need to manage it accordingly so our software will be able to do it in a quick way as compared to doing it in a manual way.
•Assembly line management problem is complex problem for the HIT workers as well as the higher authorities. They need some kind of application by which they would be able to track the working of Shops i.e. specifically for shop one so our software will be quite efficient in saving time.
• Saving time is also our main focus during this project we will make sure to save as much as time for the workers that are working on the inventory or assembly.
•Monitoring of inventory and the whole process will be covered.
So we are going to deliever our project in the form of phases that are given below;
Furthermore things are going to be added later because currently we are working and thinking on it.
