Project Area of Specialization Software EngineeringProject SummaryGlobal based positioning (GPS) based tracking and monitoring system is required to track wildlife by forest department to save both the lives of wildlife and human being.
In normal scenarios, many wildlife animals from forest or zoo sometimes come to human population and damage humans and sometimes because of fear local people kill the animals.
The main agenda behind developing this system is to make sure the safety of public as well the life of animals.
Project ObjectivesThe main objectives behind this software are:
- To find location of wildlife using GPS.
- To check body temperature to check whether the tracked animal is alive or not.
- Create an alert to make sure necessary actions at time when the wildlife comes out in public.
For this project we will use android app built in android studio using kotlin language for front end and for databade will will use firebase. We will use sim module to interact will app to get location, and body temperature of targeted animal using sensors. And the sim will be registered from Pakistan telecommunication authority.
Benefits of the ProjectThis will be beneficial for forestery department or wildlife department. As many times dangerous animals from zoos and forest comes to public area. Which may damage to human being or public property(crops), secondly because of fear mostly times people kill animals when they come to public side.
Once the project implements the location will be under observation whenever a targeted animals comes out from the considered boundary automatically alarm will be created on the system and necessary actions will take by concern department, secondly the data will be used for research and in data science also.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableMobile app integrated with hardwares/sensors communicates with PTA registered sim.
Sensor will be use to measured body temperature to check weather the targeted animal is alive or not.
Location will be automatically measured through gps and alarm will be automatically create once the targeted animal crosses the boundaryline.
