Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryWe are designing a smart Ventilator for Patients. We all know that During corona and other pandemics, we need many ventilators but unfortunately, not everyone can afford it because ventilators are very expensive.
We are aiming to design a ventilator that is smart and intelligent. It is equipped with an onboard patient monitoring system. The system keeps a check on the temperature, blood pressure, heartbeat, and the most important oxygen level of the patient. The conditions are reported continuously to an IoT platform remotely accessible to the doctor as well.
If the oxygen level is below the threshold, the system automatically activates the ventilator and oxygen are provided to the patient with a continuous check on its critical parameters.
Project Objectives- Design and development of blood pressure
- Design and development of pulse rate sensing unit
- Design and development of oxygen level monitoring
- Design and development of Temperature monitoring
- Design and development of ECG monitoring
- Design the control unit for ventilator operation
The methodology is divided into the following phases.
- Phase 1:Design and development of blood pressure
- Phase 2:Design and development of pulse rate sensing unit
- Phase 3:Design and development of oxygen level monitoring
- Phase 4:Design and development of Temperature monitoring
- Phase 5:Design and development of ECG monitoring
- Phase 5:Design the control unit for ventilator operation
