Everyone wants to live smart therefore we are upgrading traffic slights to smart traffic lights.
We are able to introduce smart site visitors sign device and extracting alerts time.
Extracting sign time is like if one aspect of the street has 100 cars and other three aspects have 75, 50 and 40 motors respectively. The green mild timing is forty five seconds every aspect we are able to extract the timing of side which has more cars with the aid of doubling the time. We will use IR sensor for the decision.
According to a study in (2017) 20% of emergency patient deaths blamed on traffic jam delays. So, we decided to focus on ambulance to reach hospital early. We will use a sound identifier which will identify the sound of vehicle approximately 500 meters before signal and put the signal on until the ambulance passes by. We will measure the distance of ambulance from signal and then turn it off to the regular signal switch.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of this project is to develop smart traffic signals system, Traffic Signals are infrastructure assets that control vehicular and pedestrian traffic. But what if we could look at the humble traffic signal in a whole new way?
What if we looked at this piece of infrastructure as the perfect foundation for a smart city? As the easiest and least expensive way to build a smart city? Traffic signals can do much more than managing traffic flow.

Project Implementation MethodIn this project the main component which is used is Arduino UNO. Installing the Arduino IDE is first step where Arduino is configured and then other supporting hardware was configured with it. Red, Yellow and Green LED’s are attached with Vero board and configured with Arduino. After that another Arduino is placed there which is used to control the sensors and both Arduino are connected with each other.
Benefits of the ProjectMainly every single person who tavel on road is he benificiary of this project either he/she is an office employee, student or in emergency. our project will help them to reach early on their place or help patients to reach hospital as early as possible.
Technical Details of Final Deliverablefor the implementaion of this project we need a circuit diagram. and in hardware we need LCD Boards , PCB Boards, LED, Arduino UNO, connecting wires etc.
