Project Area of Specialization Artificial IntelligenceProject SummaryIn this project we have made a stick for a blind person which helps to move from one place to another place through this project we can solve many problems of blind people by making them able to detect the environment through the various sensors. There is a blind man after every 1350 people in the world. There are various features in this project which we used for help the blind person that can detect every object or things which are available in the world such as ultrasonic sensor which helps to detect the any object the formula for distance which is detected by ultrasonic sensor is Distance (L=1/2*T*C) where L is the distance T is the time between the emission and reception and C is the sonic speed the value is divided by ½ because T is the time for go and return distance. LDR sensor which detect the day and night, IR flame sensor which helps to detect the fire, water sensor which detect the water, buzzer, speaker, vibe rater these three components helps to convey the message and the GPS/GSM module which helps to show the live location and if blind is in trouble then he/she can send the alert message to their parents through the GSM. The main purpose of our project is to enable blind people to move around happily like other people.
Project ObjectivesIn this project we made a smart stick for blind persons which helps them to go any where in this project we used the some sensors which alert the blind person that where he/she should go if there is an any obstacle it will detect. The project has huge potential if we talk about future. It can be used in every hospital globally. Because in the world there is a blind man after every 1350 people on a average so if we talk about future our project has a huge scope in terms of usage. The purpose of this project is that in this world every blind should be independent that he/she can visit one place to another place without any support.
Project Implementation MethodIn this project we used some ultrasonic sensors, flam IR sensor, water sensor, LDR sensor, GPS and GSM which helps to find the location of blind person these all sensors can detect the any object, water, fire, buzzer, viberator, speaker module etc. these all sensors are connected with the arduino uno and than we implement the arduino c++ code in these sensors that all sensors can work easily.
Benefits of the ProjectThe benefits of smart stick project is that every blind person is independent with the help of this project blind can detect any thing which is present in the world such as water, flame/fire, any object and also can know about the day and night etc. The some benefits of this project is that
- It can be used in hospitals for the patients.
- It can be used in homes for the blind individuals
- It can be used the industry for the blind working labor.
Finally we deliver this project in the hospitals, pharmacy store, institutes where blinds are available and electronics shops. These are some points where our project can be available for every blind person.
