The basic motive of constructing this gate is to strictly implementing of standard operating procedure in offices schools and universities.
The project comprises of unlocking of the door when all the required conditions are filled and the candidate or the employee is allowed to move in through the gate.
The working is done under if condition so that every condition is checked. It follows AND gate implementation.First, the person is asked to stand on the mark of foot prints present on the floor so that his mask could be detected by capturing his face shot. If the person is wearing the mask the Pi will move on the next step and the person would be asked to bring his hand forward to sense the temperature. If the temperature is below the critical value, it would move to next step by scanning his identity card to mark the person's attendence. Afterthat, the solenoid lock would be unlocked as all condition are fulfilled but if the person is an outsider so attendence would not be marked and a call would be carried away to authority
Project ObjectivesIn this project we'll learn facemask detection that would help in getting high accuracy results in identifying individuals wearing face mask or not.
-In this project we'll get the temperature sensored through temperature sensor and attendance done by RFID so that the whole procedure would be contactless and would help people to strictly follow SOPs.
-This project would help to follow all the SOPs not for covid but also other future viruses too.
Automatic Mask and temperature detection system is implemented through raspberry pi 4B. Raspberry pi controls RFID Module, IR temperature sensor and Picam which is setup in our Hardware prototype. Door lock is controlled through motors connected with Relay which perform switching open/close. while LCD displays the Digital Output fixed on Hardware. Raspberry pi powered through its 5V adapter which further power other components. All of the programs execute in raspberry using its OS. The Mask detection Model execute through python in raspberry which detect Mask on face in different Angles and at certain range. Mask detection model is based on Convolutional neural networks which firstly trained and test on batch of dataset of Mask and Without Mask images. Once the captured and dataset images matches Model detects the Mask. Then Our system measure Temperature through IR sensor. Person positioned their hand in-front of Sensor, if Temperature is Normal consider as true else False. In this operation RFID receives assigned ID of Valid person when Card is placed over RFID Scanner which automatically saved to the Database of system including time, date, name and ID of a person. The collected database is transfer to raspberry pi using SQL server where we can manage database and track each person. All of these operation perform under contactless protocols to implement the SOPS.
Benefits of the ProjectSmart SOP Gate is beneficial for Business, offices, institutes and industry as well. It can easily be install in any Gate/Door. Following are the plus points of project to any organization:
1) Cost Effective:
It implement proper SOPs along with attendance system through Card. It can save cost of hire a security person which monitor all these SOPs. It has time cost. Only authorized can enter the Building with proper SOPs will help in maintaining employee presence and discipline. The more is the presence of employee the more will be beneficial for the organization to generate revenue.
2) Touchless system:
It is a system from mask detection to attendance all are contactless. In the time of Covid everyone have to be contact-free to any object especially in public areas.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe implementation of project is only designed virtually but the practical implementation of the project is a bit complex as no prior working is present. It is a new concept so more software difficulties can be faced such corrupting of operating system.
