The demand and usage of electricity is increasing day by day as the population increases. Utilizing and conserving energy effectively is an important aspect of the economic growth and prosperity of the country. Energy can be conserved during production, distribution, and most significantly, consumption.
Most educational institutions have a manual electricity system.
Mostly, once in the morning, all the electric appliances are turned on and remain on throughout the day in the absence of occupants. When appliances are turned ON/OFF manually, energy is wasted along with more money on the bill.
We propose our scheme that through smart scheduling we can save a lot of energy that is going to waste. Through web protocol, we can set the timing of the class rooms. When class time begins, lights will automatically start and after the end of the class, lights will automatically be turned off.
The aim of this project to develop a low-cost IOT based smart scheduling
system to control electricity effectively and efficiently.
To achieve the highlighted aim following objectives are to be
accomplished.
1 To design a smart system which help us to control (on/off) all the appliances
from a single source.

3 Time taken to turn on/off of appliances repeatedly can also be reduce.

Our proposed scheme will be suitable for educational institutions, government departments, industries, private companies, road lights, etc., where there are possibilities of wastage of energy. We can save approximately 30% of the energy that would otherwise be wasted before implementing this scheme.
By this, we can save on energy and also on bills.
Our biggest success will be that we will use that much energy as we want.
This model can be controlled from one source and we can save on our labour costs.
We can change the timing of activation and deactivation of the loads at anytime without any trouble.
