IoT associates the physical items like vehicles, structures and different gadgets with installed wise sensors and empowers these articles to trade and gather information. The areas where IoT is getting to be mainstream are keen urban communities, e-wellbeing, shrewd matrices, web based business, brilliant transportation, and web based business and so forth.

Nowadays, our day by day lives are getting busy step by step with the goal that we can get mingled utilizing however much things as could be expected. The other need might be characterized as that ads are getting exhausted and individuals are concentrating less on the promotions so we may require new and creative plans to extend our ads in such a way, to the point that the watcher gets adheres to it till the end of the advertisement.

Our product provide the ease of use to our clients by providing them functionalities such as touch and voice recognition. Our scope may include entertainment applications, social notifications and advertisement campaigns for business organizations.

The inspiration of this undertaking is to make our condition as brilliant as conceivable which eventually results in time saving. Project Objectives

Our primary objective is to provide an affordable smart mirror without compromising the functionalities such as voice & touch.

• Our sub-goal is to keep the application of the mirror up to date by providing easy one click updates to our customers.
• Our sub-goal is to make the utilization of the mirror application being focused to a bigger network of programmers by utilizing a more familier programming language (C#)

Project Implementation Method

Scrum is an agile framework for managing knowledge work, with an emphasis on software development. It is designed for teams of three to nine members, who break their work into actions that can be completed within time-boxed iterations, called "sprints", no longer than one month and most commonly two weeks, then track progress and re-plan in 15-minute stand-up meetings, called daily scrums.

Phases:

1. Making product backlog:

Product backlog is a set of long term objectives of our project. In our project our product backlog includes our all screens that is Home screen, Settings screen, Menu screen.

1. Making sprint backlog:

After making product backlog we make sprint backlog that is a set of short term objectives. In our project are sprint backlog include all widgets on home screen, all options on setting screen and all apps on menu screen.

1. Sprint:

Sprint is a predefined time period (usually 2-3 weeks) for implementing every functionality. If that specific functionality is implemented successfully it is added to the final product after a meeting called Daily scrum.

1. Daily Scrum:

Daily scrum is a meeting which is held after every sprint in which all team members discuss what have been achieved in sprint and what haven’t.

• The Windws Tablet contains the c# application which will be displayed on the Lcd via Hdmi cable.
• Ir frame will be connected to the tablet via usb connection.
• Lcd will display the proposed widgets.
• Two way  mirror will be placed in front of Lcd to provide the proper reflection and refraction to the user.
• IR frame will be placed in front of the two way mirror to provide touch funtionality.

Power supply will be connected to the tablet and lcd along with a battery cutoff circuit which will disconnect the power supply everytime the tablet is moderately charged.

Benefits of the Project

• The smart mirror will show your notification & weather  on the go saving the time of the user enabling the user to multi task and save time while getting ready.

• Mirror is interactive and the users of the mirror are able to interact with voice as well as touch.

• The application of the mirror is desgined in such a manner that user can access internet and other widgets efficiently.

• The User Interface of the mirror is designed in a manner that it is very easy to use the application. The icons of the widgets are clear, concise and familier.

• A person can easily access the entertaintment widgets like youtube to surf videos with out any complications

• Application of the mirror is Responsive so the user can mount the mirror on the wall vertically as weel as horizontallly according to his/her needs.

• The Mirror with its housing is light weight and portable and it can be shifted easily. The users can also watch TV on the mirror easily just by plugging in their normal TV cables directly into the mirror.

Potential beneficiaries:

• Home Users can use the mirrror for decoration purposes.

• Marketing Agencies can use mirror to show advertisements on the mirrror, Shopping Malls can use the mirror in the restrooms or halls to show advertisements.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

• The smart mirror is designed to use a diagonal multi touch display, positioned vertically, which will be mounted behind an Two way mirror allowing only elements to get lit on the screen and to be seen by the user.
• Multi touch display will be connected with a tablet with windows operating system running on it.
• When mirror starts our c# application will auto boot on windows hence the c# application will act as an operating system for the mirror.
• While it is running, the smart mirror will display persistent applications and will go in sleep mode after 20 minutes of inactivity. The options will initially include a clock, a calendar, news feed and weather updates.
• The user will be able to interact with the smart mirror via touch & Voice.
• User can watch videos from you tube. User can also get facebook notifications.
• Smart mirror can be connected to any bluetooth device.
• C# Windows based application ruuning on Windows OS.
• SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).
• ClickOnce Deployment (with updates).
• Simple Wi Fi library.
• Geckofx (for Web-browsing).
