The concept smart Irrigation has been taking shape in the recent years, the idea of remotely
overseeing the state of your Garden or backyard. Backyard land or garden is a precious
resource, it is necessary for the survival of the modern society. But so many challenges are
faced in irrigation system, you need to get the temperature, humidity and sunlight right for
watering.
Project will be implemented by Arduino and other IoT based sensors with embedded system.
The system will installed along with an irrigation skeleton for watering using a motor. Using
Arduino or Pi and programming them to calibrate and use both capabilities perfectly.
From the comfort of indoor people can irrigate and water their garden and yard or plants using
IoT based system. People will know when their garden plants need water by the sensors.
Water can be Saved by Monitoring the irrigation and the water will be used when required.
There will be no need of presenting in the garden for watering.
The System can be implemented on a larger scale at Vast Crop fields by implementing the IoT
system to the water canal. Huge Amount of water can be saved by monitoring the moisture of
land and sunlight and knowing when the crops need the water.
The Technical aspects of the project is designing and developing a IoT based system
using Arduino and Some sensors. The Details of the hardware will be used are below
