Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe main intention of propose project is to contribute in making Internet of Things(IoT) base smart examination seating plane, authenticity and attendance of candidates. Propose system comprises on Design and Implementation of the Smart examination seating plan management system with Face Recognition. Face recognition and face detection are used for marking attendance and to get an access to enter in allotted examination hall or room as well as designated seat. Sensors used to detect human activities and camera use to capture and send images to the database. Live image is captured and compared with stored dataset of the images that are of allowed students of the examination if the faces are of allowed students for exam then the door is unlocked and attendance is marked, if it does not match alert “shown you are not allowed”. This smart system also facilitate the student for seating plan that are allowed by institute. For the seating plan we use camera inside the examination hall. This camera used for seating plan. Camera capture picture of all students then the picture is send to the database, check seating data in database for the seats if the data of the student is matched for the seat according to seating plan, System will allow the student to sit on chair if the student change seat during examination time then the examiner is notified.
Project ObjectivesFundamental objective of propose Internet of Things(IoT) base smart examination seating plan and authenticity of candidates using Image Processing. The system facilitates us with new smart technologies and replaces manual and also replace biometric attendance system. Image Processing replaces the manual seating plan. These old ways of attendance system and manual seating plan faces with proxy. Proxy attendance is completely eradicated by this system. This Smart System examination seating plan and authenticity of candidates applying Image Processing technologies to give access to the exam hall only to those students who are allowed or the faces who are allowed by the controller of examination Hall and also give us the facility of smart seating plan every student have their allocated seat and only allow for that seat. We implement alert notification system. If any student tries for unallocated seat, the controller of examination will be notified on smart phone and he can take necessary actions.

Proposed System will be a smart product that contains one camera installed on entering door and other cameras inside the examination hall .The outer camera allow the student to enter the examination hall and led screen show the seat number to the student if the student is candidate of current examination and also the eligible student for the examination, otherwise the door will not be unlocked for the student. This system will facilitate us to mark the attendance of allowed student that are entered to the examination hall. For the seating plan we use camera inside the examination hall. This camera used for seating plan camera capture picture of all students then the pictures are send to the database to check seating data in database for the seats if the data of the student is matched for the seat according to seating plan System will allow the student to sit on chair if the student change seat during examination time then the examiner is notified.
