Project Summary

This project is based on the technology of internet of things (IOT) . The main purpose of this project is to keep a user well known about how much energy is being consumed on regular basis within a home where he lives or any other organization he works in through LCD and as well as Gsm module.  This project further works upon the problem of overloading . As soon as overloading is  detected the supply gets cut off and the user gets notified through an sms alert via Gsm module.

Project Objectives

The objective of this project is to prevent and detect overloading of electricity and to make the user aware of the energy being consumed .

Project Implementation Method

This project will be implemented with the notmal enrtgy meters that are used by WAPDA and ar installed outside our homes schools and other institutions . This project  calculate the enrgy being consumed and will display it on LCD so that the user can be aware of the units and power that have been consumed and can then use electricity accordingly. Over loading detection is also made possible in this project to prevent any type of harm to appliances that are being used .

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The project will deliver satisfaction to the user as now a days in our country electrcity rates are wuite high so its highly in meed to be in aware of how much electrcity had been consumed and then we can use it accordingly . Appliances that get harmed due to fluctuation and overloading will also be prevented and the user will get to know about it instantly through an Sms no matter where the person is present .
