In the past few years, the measuring of the electrical parameters like voltage and current has been difficult. There are lots of problems like accuracy and everything while measuring the voltage and other parameters on the multimeter. While measuring it, at the same time the observer looks at the samples, he has to look at the multimeter to see what the readings are. During such measurements the probes can be disturbed and the observer will take incorrect reading.

Project Objectives

n this system, accurately address the measurement of electrical parameters. System has a lot of knowledge of different things while doing this project. The main thing in this project is related to the 'lenses' used. Likewise, system gives knowledge about software like Proteus, Keil uvision, and many things. By making this project, many changes observed during voltage or current measurement. Because it is very difficult but interesting to measure the electrical parameters using samples and displays their values on your spects or glasses.

  • To enhance observer convenience while measuring electrical parameters.

Project Implementation Method

The system works as follows:

For the proposed system we have utilized LiPo battery for power supply to microcontroller. OLED display is utilized for showing the values of electrical parameter we estimated. This OLED display is interfaced to controller utilizing SPI.

Lipo Battery A lithium polymer battery, or even more precisely lithium-molecule polymer battery (abbreviated as LiPo, LIP, Lipoly, lithium-poly and others), is a battery-fueled battery of lithium-molecule development using a polymer electrolyte as opposed to a liquid electrolyte. High conductivity semisolid (gel) polymers structure this electrolyte. These batteries give higher explicit vitality than other lithium battery types and are utilized in applications where weight is a basic component, similar to cell phones and radio-controlledairplane.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Here we propose smart glasses for electrical works for easy voltage measurement while working. Usually while testing/troubleshooting electrical works/PCB the person faces issues while placing probes on 2 points and looking at the multimeter at the exact time. This consumes a lot of time as well leads to faulty/improper measurements. To solve this issue we propose to integrate voltage display through the users glasses for a virtual voltage display while troubleshooting/ testing the system. We use a raspberry pi based circuit for processing and displaying output. The glass frame is made using a smartly constructed miniature frame. The frame is constructed to fit a mini display along with circuitry and the display lens used for desired reflection on the glass frame. The system is fabricated so as to fit easily on a persons ears and enable the person to view the circuitry along with voltage measured. The circuit consists of a voltage measurement circuit that is integrated to the glass in order to get the voltage inputs to the raspberry pi display. Thus we have an efficient voltage measurement display using raspberry pi.
