The existence system has many possibilities of security breaches and time wasting. We need a full-time security guard. We must to pay the security guard on daily or monthly basis. Another factor is that there can be a human life loss too. In order to reduce these factors and make our doors more secure.
We are going to use RFID and make an intelligent door lock system which can be deployed at security zones where only an authentic person can be entered. This door lock will be secure and easy to use for check-in and check-out. Also, it will help us in making any place secure because only an authorized user can be entered. This door lock will have another useful feature of finger reader. Finger reader will help us in identifying the authentic user. If a person forget his RFID tag then he/she can use the feature of finger reader which is quite secure and easy to use.
Later, In second phase, we have an another feature of face recognition camera. If a person forgets his/her RFID card then with the help of this feature the authorized person will be allowed to enter. It will help us in recognizing the face of authentic user. Which is no doubt an amazing feature to recognize the authentic person.
Our intelligent door lock system will be useful in many aspects. Our security is essential. It protects our personal items from misuse. Hence our proposed intelligent door lock will provide the best security. Intelligent door locks are vital for ensuring the security of our home and offices etc. its adopted to increase home or office security. the digital and keyless locks provide a sense of protection.

Project ObjectivesThe objective of our intelligent door lock system is as following:
- Our security is an important factor. It protects our personal items from misuse. Hence our proposed intelligent door lock will provide the best security. Intelligent door locks are vital for ensuring the security of our home and offices etc. its adopted to increase home or office security. the digital and keyless locks provide a sense of protection.
- The conventional door locks can be easily opened. This makes your house or residential place vulnerable to security threats.
- The proposed system will maintain database which will keep the record of user utilized the system.
Features like RFID card, finger reader and face recognition is what we want so that we can make our places secure
Project Implementation MethodTo achieve the above objectives our project has the following major description ;
Step-01: At first an authorized person first show Tag(card) in front of “RFID reader” for scanning(reading).
Step-02: If code inside Tag is matched with RFID reader, it will allow authorized person to enter, but if does not matched then he /she will not be allowed to enter to a secure area.
But if a person forgets his or her “RFID Tag” then have decided the alternative solution for that. Solution is to put his or her finger on “Figure reader’s” glass, when fingertips of corresponding person get matched the “door lock” will open.
Another feature is face recognition camera. If a person forget his/her RFID card then with the help of this feature the authorized person will be allowed to enter.
