Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe project is designed to automatically control (on/off) room lights as well as other appliances like fans etc.Here we are going to present it for automatic control of lights.The Automatic light control system will remain off when there is no body in the room and will automatically on when somebody enters the room. The entrance of the person is detected by the sensors(fitted on room side)which forward the message to other components in the circuit and all the light bulbs will be switched on.Then, the said person can control(on/off) the light bulbs according to his desire and requirements with the help of android application.
Project ObjectivesTo reduce unnecessary billing.To avoid wasting of electrical energy. To save economy of nation.To control the electrical devices with the help of sensors and android.To provide physical comfort for sick and aged people.
Project Implementation MethodWe will design a project to automatically control the lighting system of the room.When there is nobody in the room all the lights will be switched Off. But when a person enters into the room, the sensor(fitted on door side) will sense him and all the bulbs will switch on automatically. Now if he wants to switch on/off any light bulb, he can control it with Bluetooth input signals through android application(android device).Bluetooth receives command from arduino and then react accordingly. It operates the light bulbs through a set of relays(connected b/w loads and control unit).
