The literature review showed that there are many different possibilities to implement IoT such as Bluetooth, WIFI, or ethernet-based. Form many options the WIFI based automation was considered to be the best choice for the project.
Similar ideas are being implemented in practical use and with the proposed project we could contribute towards better implementation by eliminating some shortcomings in the present models.
In this project, we are proposing to build a Smart Automation System by which we will be controlling our devices and the user will be able to turn ON or OFF any appliance connected to the system whenever they desire. There will be a model of a house with the fully functioning IoT system components integrated into it which will work together in multiple ways such as control over a web server and WIFI control within the premises of the house.
Along with multiple sensors working together such as temperature sensors, load usage displays, there will be control of lights, fans, motors, and other electric appliances connected to the system.
We are doing this project over FYP because the world is moving towards IoT every day and we also want to be updated with the trends and uses of modern technologies. By making this project we will like to give awareness to our peoples about IoT, its benefits, modern ways of making an IoT system, and to give an overview of some of the many uses it has.
There is a great need for IoT advancements in our society to make life easier and to get more and more from the new revolutionary developments in modern science.
This automation system can also be used to provide better living standards to handicapped peoples in their day-to-day life.
