Smart and Optimized Flour Kneading Machine
The world has become the global village and the things which are being carried out are smart and according to the new technology. Everything is just a click away now a days. So, by observing the real time problems related projects we came to know about the project that is Flour Kneading Machine. Flour kneading machine is used for the formation of dough. Quality of dough depends upon kneading process. The conventional process of kneading is by hand which is physically exhausting, messier and time demanding {Unhygienic}
The project idea is to upgrade the existing kneading process to better machine mechanism.
We automated and optimized the process of dough kneading by making the exact amount of dough required by the user through our Smart and Optimized Flour Kneading Machine. Dough was accordance with the number of roti’s required thus the need for storing extra dough was also eliminated. The components used in making this dough kneader were those that were cheaper and can easily be found locally in the market. In addition, the machine was made as simple as feasible and which can readily be produced with available present day intermediate technology. The design was also reduced to the barest minimum number of moving parts to reduce cost of parts replacement and eventually low maintenance cost.
This project is being to solve the different problems that are observed. Basically to change the hand dough kneading system with a lot of ups and downs to mechanized machinery.
The world is only a click away, and the goal is to turn the machine into smart equipment that can solve manual difficulties. The major goal of this project is to design a kneading machine that reduces kneading time and makes the process more sanitary as compared to kneading by hand.
Upgrade to a better machine mechanism for the present kneading operation.
Because there are a set quantity of chapattis in this package, there is no flour waste. This machine will be used to mix enormous amounts of flour together.The flow of water and flour is also assisted by gravity, thus no additional engine is required.
The machine will have some plausible benefits like having the mobile interface making it a smart machine which could control the number of chapatti, the device will be automatic and can be operated remotely.

The working of this device depends upon various mechanisms used. These mechanisms and their working in the sequence of operation are listed below.
Mechanism for flour

This figure is used for the illustraion However, actually it is being done by camshaft.
The mechanism designed for pouring an adequate amount of flour in the assembly includes a servo motor connected
via a linkage to a camsfhaft (worm). The camshaft (worm) which is below the feeder allows to the flour to fall into the main chamber. Once the input regarding the number of r has been fed into the system via the keypad the servp motor is made to rotate by a predefined angle by a signal given by the microcontroller. This rotation causes the worm to move for a timed value thus letting flour for one roti to fall into kneading container this completes the job of the flour mechanism.
Mechanism for water

Once the amount of flour required for a single chapatti has been fed into the kneading container, the water mechanism comes into play. Here essentially, we use a d.c. pump that pumps water from the storage container into the kneading dough. the dc pump is operated for a time that is pre-calculated by trial and error to ensure an adequate supply of water to the kneading dough.
Mechanism for kneading the dough

With the adequate amount of flour and water in the container, it now becomes possible to knead the dough. To do so a dc motor is used this dc motor has its shaft connected to a blade. The blade is made to rotate at a moderate speed in order to ensure proper kneading and binding of the dough. Once the motor has been rotated for a fixed time the kneading process comes to an end.
When the specific command will be given through the app the machine will start mixing the flour and water. Specific time will be taken an the dough will be ready.
