Smart Agriculture Drone
In this smart Agriculture drone camera, we use camera as detect the diseases in agriculture after acknowledged the diseases and note the point where are actually damage area or diseases. After that we going to spray on that point. Till now most of the drones just spray on the fields using some remote control or automated command thus we make the drone smart by identifying the images which are damaged and spray on these points. This will enhance the drone design and bring smart agriculture drones for our local market where most of economy is based on the agriculture land. This way we will have a smart drone system for agricultural land.
Project will be implemented using different hardware and software components. Thus, it will be integrated system. First we will make the architecture that how to integrate the hardware and software. Once we have our system. Then we will start developing each components separately.
From Hardware perspective we need a drone which we will fly to through remote control and see how we can automate this process else we have it put it one some rack to make things automated. Once we have the system. We will put pi hardware on the top of drone which will be used for analysing the system.
Software system will be a smart program Artificial Intelligence based which we train on the leaves of diseased crops and then test it using camera on group and later on it will be put inside the pi module of drone and connect it to camera and spray nozzle.
We will use a small surface area where we bring some plants or the leaves of the plants and put them on the floor. Some of them will be infected like disease infect them and leave others as usual.
A computer with windows 10 and python 3.7 will be used to build the program
This project can help the farmers to ease the spraying process and thus save time and increase production.
Everyday we see new technologies coming in market but there are only a few which targets spraying the pesticides. As there are some spray machines which does the job, but they are not so smart. So this drone will be the smart drone.
Our idea is Smart Agriculture Drone. So, here we are using smart word because that drone will deduct diseases of agriculture farms with the help of cam which make framers work easier by identifying the disease and spot the area of disease.
Through that report framer can easy so that area which is spotted by the drone and spray the medicine on the particular area of disease which can affect by saving cost and nature growth of vegetables and fruits without using prestige of medicine.
The final deliverables will be a drone system with a HD camera which will be mounted on the drone which will be detecting the images using that camera sensor. Furthermore, the drone will also include a remote control system using Bluetooth module for controlling the device. Though camera and image recognition will be automatic. The Drone will have a small computer on top of it to analyse the images. The images will be taken from camera and will be sent to the processing unit which will be the rasp bery pi which have processing unit for analysing the images. Then the system is already trained to recognize the images which has the disease. After recognizing the image it will either don’t do anything or if it found an image it will spray with nozzle the pesticide on the given plant.
Final deliverable will be in the form of a smart drone / flying robot depends on what you call it. It will be equipped with Artificial Intelligence and a remote-control system to control the system. There will be a little pesticide which will be sprayed upon the command. For proof of concept and simplicity purposes we will limit it to small capacity for now due to budget and technical constraints
