This is a web-based application, which is about protecting women's rights in our region.

This Website will guide women, as women don’t know what to do when a certain situation occurs, or a certain condition happens. This website will guide her with a proper method, how to react in such situations. The users of this website can be classified as Admin NGO/FOUNDATION teams, lawyers, donors, instructor,s and the victims.

Admin which will control and manage all the ongoing activities on the website i.e. confirmation of NGO and the victim person, provide help to victims, forwarding issues of victims to the concerned NGOs, and many more.

The lawyer could provide their services free or paid, according to the work and their policy, while a donor is a person who voluntarily and willingly wants to help to the victims and needy women, and can give social media, moral and financial support to her

Project Objectives

The main objective of this website is:

1. to ensure women's safety and protect women's rights. And also to spread awareness regarding women's rights.
2. This website will guide women, As our woman doesn’t know what to do when a certain situation occurs or a certain condition happens.
3. This platform will guide her with a proper method, how to react in such situations.
4. This website will provide the facility to women to raise their voices in case of any type of harassment or issue. Donors could also volunteer in this situation and could provide their help to victims (like rape victims or in case of domestic violence, financial help, etc.).
5. This platform will provide an opportunity for NGOs/Foundations to spread their services as much as possible to people.

Project Implementation Method

The activities for the application development process are listed as follows:

Pre Development Survey:

In the initial stage, we will conduct a ground survey regarding the need for developing the “she is safe” web-platform. We will gather the customer’s requirements that we will use as input to the proposed website.

Web-based app Development:

• Setup environment for website development
• The registration page for User /NGO’s/DONORS/Lawyers/INSTRUCTORS.
• Additional Services

The team would develop a website using Visual studio. The application would be delivered to the users with an interface that is tempting and user-friendly. It would deliver better services by contacting relevant people for the job to the end-user and would result in a technological impact among women and others, in the society.

Prototype delivery (Via Marketing Personally):

Visiting personally to the NGO, lawyers, instructors, and other people(to find donors among them)to negotiate with them to offer their services through this website. We will register all the Individuals who are willing to utilize our website.

Post-Survey:

This survey will be conducted that will provide their feedback in terms of negative, positive, or neutral. Moreover, they can suggest extra features and services to the app. This survey will help us in extending the website with new features if needed.

Benefits of the Project

She is safe will be a very beneficial platform for everyone, whether they are women or NGO’S or donors etc.

• This website is about the protection of women's rights and it will work against women's rights violations, in favor of women's safety.
• By using our website, it would be possible (up to some extent) for these women as well as to NGO’S/foundations to reach and contact each other.
• This website is also very helpful for social activists and women's rights protection foundations and NGOs, by providing them a chance to reach the victim and needy women, even in rural areas.
• And they can also do their welfare work in the remote village areas, through this website.
• The donors would provide services voluntarily, the instructors could spread their knowledge regarding women's rights and lawyers can provide their services to needy women either paid or free.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The proposed website will make every user of it register itself here first i.e. only registered users will be using this website.

Non-registered can only see but cannot use it.

This website will have 3 main modules and 3 sub-modules:

Main modules:

1. ADMIN: This will handle the working of the website, the victim woman would contact to admin for her issue.
2. NGO’S: NGO or other foundations that are working for women’s rights protection will register themselves here. The Admin would contact them for issues, they can also contact the admin. Like a two-way communication.
3. Victim women: The victim women are the main users of this website, they can contact to the admin regarding her issue.

 

Submodules:

1. Donors: They are the ones who want to help women volunteer. They would register their selves here and can directly contact the admin. Or they can contact the NGO.
2. Lawyers: They depend upon personal choice, they can offer free services to the women, or could also charge them. After registering here, they could contact the admin itself or could get hired by NGO too.
3. Instructor/guider: They are the teachers or instructors who will conduct or will arrange the guiding sessions for the women, both online and physically. They can register their selves here and contact to admin or could also hire by NGO.
