SERVICE ORIENTIED ARCHITECTURE
Project Area of Specialization Software EngineeringProject SummaryAn e-commerce site's main objective is to sell products through the internet. This project deals with the developing of Service Oriented Architecture for local sellers to sell their products online and grab the traffic which they cannot grab physically.
Due to the lack of Service Oriented Architecture in Pakistan, we are developing a framework employing Service Oriented Architecture to assist business owners in making their businesses online accessible locally and internationally, which will substantially impact Pakistan's economic metrics. This framework will help its user to create an online store just by clicking and providing few details. If the business owners want to do more customizations in their stores, they can use some of the templates provided by the system. By developing this framework, we will also gain the trust of customers who will be buying different products from different business owners by explaining terms between the business owners and us while creating their store using our framework. The main objective of our development is to provide ease to business owners to grow their businesses over the internet in the local market and international market without the hustle of finding the developer or software companies for their requirements.
Project ObjectivesThis project's concept is based on the most popular website in and outside Pakistan (daraz.pk, shopify.com etc.). This website will be for all communities in Pakistan, but we focus on the Faisalabad region specifically, where different sellers can set up shop on the site, and the local population can purchase goods; moreover, at this time, the seller will be only Faisalabad based on the other hand the purchaser can be from any region in Pakistan. This website will mainly cover the Textile area in which sellers and buyers can sell and buy different types of equipment related to Textiles. We selected this domain because, according to our research, there is no specific local market present at the current time which provides different types of products related to Textiles.
Project Implementation MethodThis website, built on a Service-Oriented Architecture platform, is comparable to daraz.pk and amazon.com in several ways. This website will improve on prior websites in terms of functionality and ease of use for Service-Oriented Architecture websites. Verification procedures for websites like daraz.pk are lengthy. Moreover, there is no Service-Oriented Architecture platform currently owned locally daraz.pk was owned locally but now it is also being owned by overseas companies. Our website will solve this problem.
Benefits of the ProjectThe main purpose of this product is that the local seller is offered a platform to open a virtual shop in which the seller will have multiple functionalities e.g. (creating a store, adding new products, viewing sales, and etc.). The sellers can signup for a virtual shop and upload products on it by providing their address, government issued identity document and banking details for new store and product title, product description, product category, and product price respectively. The admin will be accepting both new store opening and product approvals respectively from seller on the basis of provided details. The customer will be able to see the products uploaded and approved by the seller and admin respectively. The customers will be able to select what they want to buy and provide their shipping details to the system. After the successful submission of the customer’s shipping details and payment the acknowledgement will be sent to the admin and seller. The payment will be received in admin’s account. The funds will be released to seller’s bank account from admin once the seller provides an authentic tracking id against the shipped parcel. Customers will also have the functionality that they can write a feedback about the seller.
