Shopping online has become a norm of the society as technology progresses. It is quite difficult for visually impaired people to shop online with the existing applications i.e. Aira, Be my eye. This app provides a common platform by gathering datasets from major shopping stores after taking the options from user. This way it will help visually impaired to avoid surfing number of websites to choose their desired products by allowing them to interact with this app easily.

The application uses gestures and voice inputs by the user as this serene shopping app guides the user throughout till checkout.

Project Objectives

This application is specifically designed for the visually impaired. They will be able to shop according to their choices from different stores. The serene app for the visually impaired provides shopping stores in different categories. E.g., phones, Bags, Health care.

In those categories the products of major shopping store e.g., Amazon, and Ali Express is listed. The user can shop those products using speech recognition and gesture controls. They can listen to descriptions and can add it to the cart and proceed to checkout. The serene shopping app for the visually impaired assists the visually disabled to shop easily and independently.

Project Implementation Method

• Apply for registration:

Members will be able to register themselves in the system. They will submit the form along with the required details.

• Login:

Registered members can login to the system for the process.

The project is to help others understand the importance of the idea of serene shopping app for visually impaired. This app reduces the browsing problem for visually impaired for shopping as it will provide shopping in different categories.
