Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryWe will construct a sensor network for detection of water contamination in agriculture, network can communicate with the centralized server through a communication network (GSM or Wi-Fi). A front end application will be used to interface with the user. A scheduling algorithm will be implemented to receive data from different nodes.
The main idea of this project is to detect the PH, turbidity (solid in water), temperature and ions like (nitrate, lead) which are the cause of agriculture water contamination. This will allow us to examine water suitable for agriculture purpose. Different diseases occur due to contaminated water in agriculture which causes different fatal diseases. Main significance of this project is to provide healthy environment for agriculture.
Project ObjectivesOur objective is to detect water contamination for agriculture whether the water is suitable enough to use it for agricultural purposes. If we use contaminated water for agricultural purposes, it can cause various diseases. Our focus is to protect human health and crops from heavy metals present in water which are harmful for crops and for human health. We also aim to construct a dataset that can be useful for future research. We will check the temperature,turbidity, pH, Nitrate and Lead of water to find out whether the water is pure enough to be used for agricultural purposes.
Project Implementation MethodDeployment of nodes at prescribed area with data shown to the user on iOS application with centralized database.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableOur product will be capable of detecting agricultural water contamination and the sensor networks will be used to get the data of water and send that data to server. That data can be viewed on web and iOS application.
Our product will provide the user with automatic working of his desired requirements such as automatic gathering of required data, real time monitoring. User will have easy access to all nodes in his respective city. Features also include separate nodes of your required data.
