Secondary control in dc microgrid
Project Area of Specialization BlockchainProject SummaryWe are working on secondary control in dc microgrid, the objective of this project is to ensure equal load sharing using SMC(Sliding Mode Control) and PI controller.
In this project, we have to design DC microgrid using different converters and renewable sources.
We are moving to the DC system because nowadays all types of equipment and devices are on DC source, in our home premises are also working on DC nonetheless the generation is in AC.
that's why we are making the DC system to provide desirable power at low losses.
The objective of this project is to ensure equal load sharing in the dc system and regulate the low voltages.
As we know load changes at any instant so due to this the voltages down from the nominal voltages and the load will more be drawn from one source. To stabilize this change we're using SMC and PI controller to share the equal load and regulates the voltages among the different sources.
The implementation of the project is on the DC system and also on the AC system, using electronic converters all sources will be allocated on the DC grid and will be provided an equal amount of energy from all sources.
Benefits of the ProjectThe benefits of the projects are, there are more efficient than the ac systems. low losses the AC. easy to connect more than one sources as compared to ac systems.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableWe are using electronic converters to regulates the voltages like boost. and SMC is for Current control and PI is for voltage control
