Student Bus Tracker is one of the best GPS tracking applications for School and parents. A real-time bus tracking system provides you the live GPS location of the school bus and tells you whether your child has boarded or de-boarded the bus or not, and at what time. All this information can be accessed by parents from anywhere, be it their home or workplace. This application will let Parents to track the school van for their children, and also, they will be able to see the bus or van on the map with real time feature. In this way, parents will also be able to track their children and they will know where the bus is right now and also the direction and duration of which the bus will arrive at the destination. This will also help the parents to check the driver destination whether the driver is going right way or not. The realtime feature of a tracking system gives parents more comfort and peace of mind in ensuring safety and security of their child while being transported to and from the school.
Project Objectives
Basically, we are going to make an application through which school and parent will track the school van we will make a login panel for school driver, school and parent. In school login there will be different features. There will be add van feature, remove van feature, add van details and destination, school will create ID for driver and will give the id to the parent for their children. Once the drive will pick the student parents will be notify about the it. For driver there will be just login panel in which driver will login his ID and will select the ride which he is going for he will start the ride and parents will be notify once the rider is started for parents there will be a panel through which parent will add van id through which they will track the van and can check in realtime.
Project Implementation Method
The services which we have used in this application is android studio and we are using java language to code the application we have used several API through which our project comes towards success. Cloud fire store is use for the database we are saving all of our data in fire store and we can access all the data through app as well. Firebase console gives us one more option for the storage so we use this as well to store pictures.We have created an application in which parents can track their children’s location in real time and driver will also send picture of children’s when they are on board and in future other features can also be added in this app as per client requirements
Benefits of the Project
As we know the major issue now a days is students kidnaping so keeping this thing in view, we done some research then came up with an idea and discussed it with our jury and they accepted our idea. We are about to create the app which will help school and parents to keep a track on their child. In the implementation of this project, we were assigned advisors to discuss further about our idea and he provided us different task weekly through which we reach towards the completion of our project.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
The main motive of this application is to provide safety. Through which parents can keep track on their children’s. Driver will send picture of the students when he is ready to go so through which parents can check whether their children is boarded or not and same thing can be viewed by school. This will help parents about their children safety .
