The system comprises of a mobile application which can be used by both the victim (driver) and the responder (emergency services). A built-in accelerometer in mobile is used to detect the accident then the application generates an alert automatically on victim side which can be cancelled in 1-2 minute time if the victim is safe and doesn’t want to send an emergency notification to the responder. If victim does not press the abort button, application will automatically send accident alert to nearby responder (hospital, ambulance) and added emergency contact.
An emergency alert is sent to the nearby responder through whom they get notified about the victim’s information. The responder gets the shortest route and real time tracking of the victim which decrease the response time to save lives.
The number of deaths due to traffic accidents is very high. Mostly the family members or emergency services are not informed in time. This results in delayed emergency service response time, which can lead to an individual’s death or cause severe injury. The purpose of this project is to decrease the response time of emergency services in situations like traffic accidents.
This system will have two major types of users:
1. Victim(s): These users can utilize the application by registering themselves in the system and can add emergency contacts. Upon detection of the accident, an emergency alert is sent to nearest responder.

After the completion of this project, this system will be able to detect the accident and generate an emergency alert to the nearest responder.
This system will consist of three main divisions:
1. Victim-end mobile application: This application is for the drivers to detect the accident and send an emergency alert to nearest responder.
2. Responder-end mobile application: This application is for the emergency services to get notified if any accident is detected.
3. Database: Database is used for the storage of the data e.g. victim data, responder data etc.
