Robodoc is an Ai Based Project which includes a “Machine based System” for hospitals and a “mobile app and web Software” for people. Robodoc will rapidly process patients’ symptoms, suggest required tests, help identify the correct diagnosis at early stages when human doctors might miss the signs. It will provide evidence-based treatment and will help doctors to perform surgeries more efficiently. it will also work remotely (e.g; An American doctor can perform surgery in Pakistan with Robodoc remote system). it works through Ai Algorithms, analyzing the old medical data, using sensors, cameras, specialized software, hardware and other advanced technology. Robodoc would be able to interact with the patients to know their Current Symptoms and history via communication or in written-form in their native languages. It will then, after patients’ approval, perform necessary tests which could be blood examination, biopsy’s, Xray, Ultrasound’s etcetera. After analyzing the test results, it will diagnose the disease at early stages and prescribe the possible treatment. Robodoc offer treatment in multiple ways. For instance, it can ask for precautions, prescribe medicines or perform surgeries. One of the most advanced features of robodoc is that it can work remotely for example a doctor from hundreds and thousands of miles (or from all around the world) can check the patient or perform surgery without physically present. It requires high speed internet access from both sides. Robodoc will minimize several problems in the existing healthcare system. It will enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery by physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. It will remove the distance barrier via robodoc’s remote system.it will reduce hospital and healthcare costs through the efficient allocation of the time and quick process.it will save more lives which lost due to the human error, negligence, biasness, and negative emotions of human doctors. According to WHO (World Health Organization), Over 134 million medical errors are reported worldwide, More Than 2.6 million deaths annually occurred due to Doctors Negligence especially in 3rd world countries. According to a recent survey published by Pubmed.gov that the human error is the 3rd leading causes of deaths In the United States of America, approximately 10-15% annual deaths occur in US due to doctors’ negligence. In Pakistan, it is one of the leading causes of death as reported by WHO and Federal Ministry of National Health Services. Robodoc is AI based and have less chance of error, have no emotions, biasness and can be able to work 24/7 without fatigue and tiredness like human doctors so, it will be able to provide more efficient treatment and ultimately more lives can be saved. There is a company named IBM (International Business Machines Corporation), is also developing the Ai Based machine which will diagnose only heart diseases but Robodoc will diagnose all human diseases, prescribe medicines and perform surgeries even from thousands of miles distance.
