RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) based smart parking system replacing the conventional parking system.

The users will be provided an entry card for getting access to the parking slot. The users will also be provided with an android-based mobile application, using which they can know about the availability of the parking slot on their mobile phones. The RFID card will also complete the purpose of security because only the valid RFID can enter in the parking the data will be entered in the system with the complete details of customer. Also we can entered the parking fee process when the customer will punch the RFIDcard on the scanner the balance loaded in the card account will be deducted.

In this way, this smart parking system will help reduce human effort & time by using technology.

Project Implementation Method

The project implementation method after the literature review and the problem statement we have decided over goals to overcome the problems. during the study of literature review I have studied the that yearly thousands of gallons fuels have been burned for finding the free slot parking and also the wasting of time which results the mind stress for the peoples. In the beginning we have started the study of hardware components which components will be better after purchasing the hardware started work on the code to run on the micro controller esp32 and all other components e.g. RFID,IR sensor after completing the coding we have ruined the code individually on the each components after completing the software and the hardware we have merged everything as per project objective .Designed the project layout the entrance and exit .The car will entered in the parking by scanning the RFID card after detecting the valid RFID the servo motor will be functional the barrier will open and car will entered in the parking and will park in the free slot which the user will already know the which slot is empty through the mobile App.

For the exit when car will reach near the out barrier the ir sensor will sense the car the servo motor will start opening the barrier .The complete layout is completed software+hardware+design . 

Benefits of the Project

The benefits of the project is very effective after achieving the objectives of the project the number of advantages will be discovered. The wasting of time for finding the free parking slot floor by floor or the basement parking B1 or B2 or B3 is the wasting of time.

The traffic blockage is also a big problem due to finding the free slot parking.

Space, which is caused by the increases of car owners

Globally. In it is stated that approximately 730 tons of

Carbon dioxide (CO2), 95000 hours of time and 47000

Gallons of fuel use per year in finding of parking in Los

Angeles (USA), and 30% of traffic is due to the searching

of the parking area.

Due to this project the wasting of time the wasting of fuel and the emission of gas which is globally effected will be reduce very much.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The technical details about our hardware components 

The RFID scanner (radio frequency identification) Radio-frequency identification uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. An RFID system consists of a tiny radio transponder, a radio receiver and transmitter. The user will scan the card and the RFID will detect the card and gives command to the servomotor via main esp32 micro controller to open the barrier. The RFID scanner is used to scan for user card and transmit the data to microcontroller; the microcontroller transmits the data over IOT server to check if the card is valid and if it holds sufficient balance. If the card is invalid or does not hold sufficient balance, the entry to the vehicle is denied. If the card holds, sufficient balance it is provided entry and then the sensor, which is blocked by the car parking, indicates which slot the car is parked in.

The esp. 32 we have chosen the esp. 32 because of efficient performance and cheap and have Wi-Fi module and the Bluetooth module is bultin.The ESP32 series employs either a ten silica Xtensa LX6 microprocessor in both dual-core and single core variations, Xtensa LX7 dual-core microprocessor or a single core RISC-V microprocessor and includes built-in antenna switches, RF balun power amplifier, low-noise receive amplifier, filters, and power-management modules.

An infrared sensor (IR sensor) the sensor will sense the car gives commands to the esp. 32 the Wi-Fi module will turn from green to red that the car is parked on the free slot the IR sensor will sense the car on exit door and the barrier will open.

The dc servomotor we have chosen the dc servomotor because of accuracy and the controlling of the motor after getting commands from the sensors and the RFID the servo motor will be start working.

The PCB board consisting the esp. 32 the RFID scanner the lcd the IR  sensor and the servo motor the IR sensor is connected with the wires also the servo motor and the LCD and the RFID is implemented on the PCB board
