Project Objectives

Our objectives for this Autonomous Vehicle project is

  1. to make our vehicle accelerate and decelerate automatically on given path.
  2. to make our vehicle detect obstacles on given path and avoid collision with that obstacles.
Project Implementation Method

We will impliment this project by using Agile methedology. We will start with

  1. path identification
  2. than path following
  3. obstacle detection
  4. than least but not last obstacle avoidance.
Benefits of the Project

This project is very much beneficial for autonomous industry. they can implement our model with modification in their vehicles

  1. to reduce human error, causes accidents

  2. to increases passengers and drivers productivity.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Final deliverable of our project is a working model of vehicle having

  1. GSM

  2. Lidar sensor and

  3. camera

mounted on it and using Jetson Nano microprocessor interacts with environment by taking input from sensors and as an output it will

  1. follow path

  2. identify obstacle on path

  3. and avoid collision with obstacle
