Project Summary

The product Retailify is essentially a software platform that brings together retailers and cutomers and allows for an efficient flow of placing and recieving orders. The system is a three point system with a Web application (for retailers), a mobile application (for cutomers) & a mobile application (for riders). It establishes a within the hour delivery from any nearby brick & mortar store. The project encompasses the various features and technical aspects for both a retailer web application and a customer mobile application.

There would also be an instore QR based checkout mechanism enabled by the connection between retailer web app and mobile app. Complete transaction history is to be provided to both the retailer and customer. The connection establishment between customer and retailer would be beyond just a purchase. We would also provide extensive data driven analytics to retailers. The customers would have inventory accesses/product displays of the nearby shops via mobile app. Delivery services and tracking would be enabled for all customers in connection with nearby Retailers (4km radius).

Starting out we first design all three interfaces and the various screens. Having done so we divide out team into grousp of 2. And begin development of the applications. First we develop the web application and cutsomer application side by side. We design screens using Figma.

TypeScript: for making JavaScript code more understandable

This project will expand the customer basis for any store or retailer that uses it. It makes the customer base more accessible for the retailers alongside making lives for the normal cutsomer more convenient. On a day to day basis any customer can on the go, order anything from their nearby store iwthout the inconveninec of leaving their home or apartment. In addition to that this product fits right into the fast paced lives of the working class in the cities.
