The summary of RentLent revolves around targeting number of companies, organizations and educational institutes involving number of people seeking a shelter of their comfort by just sitting at home. Which may assist them to easily find a roof in urban cities which is quite a challenging task for people coming from interior sites. Hence, this project would create a bridge between renters and our website.

The background is about the applications which are already developed for the purpose of renting properties. However, applications like (https://www.zameen.com/) and (https://www.olx.com.pk/) has been dealing with the property rent/purchase but what issues is:

1. It involves third party authentication (State Agent) which asks for commission.

2. Often ambiguous information displayed on the portal.

Applications like MagicBricks, NESTAWAY and 99ACRES which are foreign based offer various rent properties to the new comers.

Project Objectives

The basic aim of this project revolves around targeting number of companies, organizations and educational institutes that would create a bridge between renters and our website “RentLent”. This project is all about people coming from interior to urban places and then settle themselves according to their requirements under the reasonable shelter they could afford. All of the features and technologies used in this project is aimed to help people of all categories and all differences. The targeted audience is not only based for local citizens but for international citizens too. The community belonging from all races including the minorities from Pakistan are encouraged to use this application.

Since RentLent is the bridge between renters and the organizations, it is both beneficial for number of targeted companies and organization earning profound commissions.

Project Implementation Method

The RentLent web app is being built using ASP.NET managed by Visual Studio 2017. Also, Jira is used as a software tool to check the status and progress of work tasks time to time. referenced [3]

The Framework used is MVC5 (Model View Controller version 5) with the help of C# as the Programming Language. Also, SQL server 2014 is used in order to retrieve the information from the database server to the controller class and eventually it will be displayed onto VIEW classes as seen in figure 2.3

.NET is preferred because .NET is a native framework included with Windows. The framework's libraries make it easy to work directly with the operating system, so it's preferred over Java and similarly, MS SQL server is a database product of Microsoft. It allows users to SQL queries and execute them. It is among the most stable, secure and reliable database solutions. It supports wide variety of transaction processing, analytics, and business intelligence applications in corporate IT environments.
