•Remote monitoring and control (M&C) systems are designed to control large or complex facilities such as factories, power plants, network operations centers, airports, and spacecraft, with some degree of automation.

•M&C systems may receive data from sensors, telemetry streams, user inputs, and pre-programmed procedures. The software may send telecommands to drives, computer systems, or other devices.

•M&C systems may also perform via wireless designed system

Project Objectives

Aim:

•The aim or purpose of this proto type is to providing a easy and cheap solution to industries for their costly machines like pumps or motors to be protected .

•To monitor them easily

•To be handy and satisfied with safety

Objectives:

The Project objectives include:

*To monitor the motor connected with VFD

*To monitor the motor for protection and safety

*Easy to use solutions for saving energy etc

*To provide a particular phenomenon applicable in all industries

 the main objective is to serve KWSB a essential and useful system

Project Implementation Method

•The remote monitoring system coordinates all necessary functions for overseeing the autonomous operation of equipment.

• such as water pumps , along with the associated electronic components and a host of additional functions which can be adapted for other processes or applications.

•By using software and sensors to initiate the health of motor by monitoring and controlling

To design this project the required hardware and software are

ØVFD (variable frequency drive)

ØGSM (communication module)

ØLaptop /pc’s

Software

ØMct -10 communication software for VFD

ØWeb server (provided by software) for Data login

ØModbus (communication protocol)

ØWindows 7 or above in laptops.
