Project Area of Specialization Shared EconomyProject SummaryOur project is basically concerned with screen sharing from android to android. This project consists of an app that will allow users to interact with other’s mobile screen after the establishment of connection. There should be minimum two Android devices with App installed. Devices should be connected through internet. Device to device connectivity was already possible in the original IEEE 802.11 standard by means of the ad hoc mode of operation. When the users will input IP address of each other which will be generated by the device and will appear on app, then app will make connection between two devices. Once connection is established users will decide who is going to be the server and who is going to be the client. This is specific system to facilitate the real time screen sharing from one android mobile to another mobile. Our proposed system will help to reduce storage space because there will be no need to share data on each device. Lots of real time tasks on android device can be viewed to another connected device. At the same time, receiver can understand what’s happening to connected mobile and Sending device can also send SMS, files, audio, and video to the receiving device. One can also use it to view their employee’s phone screen when they are working on an important task. Our project motivation is to share screen content to connected device that will facilitate users to share their mobile screen in real time environment, thus creating a digital interface to users.
Project ObjectivesThe purpose of this project is to develop a real time screen sharing app for smart phones. The objectives of our project are as listed below:
- To create an environment for users through which they can easily share screen of their mobile phones.
- To provide a latest screen sharing platform so that server can share real time screen content to connected device.
- One can also use it to view their employee’s phone screen when they are working on an important task.
- Our proposed system can be used for teaching purposes and can also help old people who are not familiar with android devices by providing them a step by step solution.
- To enhance the real time screen sharing on android devices by providing support for entire versions of android from 1.5 Cupcake to 8.1 Oreo.
- To provide the facility to send SMS, files, audio, video etc.
- To provide a platform for real time screen sharing which will be free of cost.
- To reduce memory usage of mobile phones of users by avoiding unnecessary transfer of files and to avoid unnecessary deletion of important files due to lack of storage.
- A smart phone with android operating system
- The phone should have USB debugging mode for development and testing purposes.
- Phone RAM should be minimum 512 MB
- Operating system of mobile should be android 4.0 or higher.
- Android SDK version 7.0
- JAVA language for development

- Standard WebRTC Plugin (Enables the WebRTC peer connection, GetUserMedia, Datachannel APIs and Screenshare)

Above mentioned software and hardware tool are used in implementation and above mentioned Temasys plugins are backbone of app that are rquired to build this app.
Our project will facilitate the users in order to enhance the remote access on android devices. Our project aim is to facilitate users by providing a platform through which they can share screen of each other’s mobile. The users will also have the facility to send a SMS and they can also share file, audio, video and image. Our proposed system will help to reduce storage space because there will be no need to share data on each device. Our proposed system can be used for teaching purposes and can also help old people who are not familiar with android devices.
