PROJECT SUMMARY:

Almost every organization nowadays, who must deal with abundance of data, is using a management system. This is because it is easy to handle huge data with a system rather than dealing with it through traditional paper-based system. For the same reason we chose to build a management system for Fast Food Shops. Using this management system, the owners will be able to keep track of their customers, employees, inventory, sales, purchases, profit and loss. The system will allow users to enjoy connection with Food Panda. The other benefit is, system has analyzing properties that are quite handy. And the good news is system fully support marketing strategies of business through sending SMS and emails to customers. From a brief introduction of system that I stated above its crystal clear that all these things are not possible to do if shop owners stick to the traditional system of keeping track and running their businesses. Hence, this management system has got importance in today’s industry.

  • Providing ease to resutrants owner in order to deal with the abundance of data .
  • Owner can check remotely each and every data related to resturant i.e inventory,pos,customers,stock,etc.
  • Can check data from city or out of city efficiently.
  • Providing best,efficient and secure system to resturantants owner.
  • System is design in such a way that in future if resturant owner want to add increment in system .it can be easy added as previous system were not efficient.  
  • we also add built in marketing techniques .in order to expand buisness.

 

Project Objectives

The core objectives that have been considered most important for the project are as follows:

  • Allowing fast food shop owners to buy a management system at economic price.
  • Facilitating owners with handling huge amount of data easily and efficiently.
  • Allowing owners to marketize their business by providing SMS and Emailservices.
  • Providing opportunity to flourish their business by using the results generated by analyzer built into the system.

Project Implementation Method

Methodology:

When choosing the methodology to be used throughout the project, the volatility of the requirements specification was assessed, along with the time constraints placed on the project lifecycle. From this information, Spiral Methodology was ruled out, due to its long iteration time and small nature of the project. Thanks to familiarity with waterfall methodologies from previous projects, there is a lot of evidence to suggest that its big up-front requirements gathering, and its rigid structure hinders the progress of projects. It is estimated that up to 60% of a companies’ resources can be wasted using the methodology, by writing unused and incorrect code. Therefore, an agile methodology was the best option available. Due to the short time frame of the project (6 months from beginning to end), an agile methodology would help a system to be developed with the most useable features in a short space of time. A feature driven development was
chosen throughout the project, allowing a focus on designing and building a set of requirements or ‘features’ in each iteration. This allowed value to be delivered to the stakeholders and for the project to remain responsive to changing requirements.

Benefits of the Project

The foremost goal of our project is to provide easiness to the shop owner in managing the business. At first glance admin can see today’s sale, what’s the profit/loss ratio, how much products are being consumed and how many items need to be bought and along this all the employee’s data. Sales part is handled by the cashier. However, admin can log in any time to see the sales or to generate report of current day sale’s,weekly, monthly or annually. Report can be of sales, product sold, region where sales occur, time of sale, gender & age of customers who are interacting most and at which time of day. By default, it will show graph that can be converted to tabular form if want. Moreover, its affiliated with Food Panda. In products section, you can go the products by category, by danger zone, ingredients use in specific products and ingredients by specific merchants. In workers section, it shows all data of all workers including cashier, cook, delivery boys and sweepers. In customers section, it shows all the data of current registered customers and new customers can be added and added customers can be deleted according to need. In stock section, there is details of all stock. Through mails and SMS sections, any information can be sent to all the customers and employees. And so, by providing these functionalities in a system, we are making fast food shop owners to run their businesses efficiently by handling all the data in an easy-to-manage way.
