Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryThe situation faced by many steel industries of Pakistan in running the electrical based furnace is that it is operated by a feeder with constant short circuits to produce heat to melt the metal. In this procedure, if a slight error arises then it would lead to failure of the feeder and occasionally this will lead to feeder damage & explosion due to excessive amount current flow. The research problem is that how can we make a process safer for a meter reader to collect all the required information from the feeder with high accuracy and safety?
To solve this problem, we need a real-time monitoring system that can collect the data from all feeders from a remote location and make a database of the collected data. In this research work, we will develop a user-friendly real-time monitoring system which is based on the SCADA system to provide human life safety for meter readers. Therefore, this solution will help the steel industries of Pakistan, to reduce inspection time and makes diagnosis easy as compared to the old traditional way in which they must monitor all the reading manually by visiting the field area which is too dangerous for a human being.

First We Have To Observe The Site Of Feeder And Watch The Operation Of Feeder. After This We Have To Take All Of The Data About The Devices Insert On The Feeder.
After That We Have To Separate The Devices Which We Can Use In This Scenario Then Make Combination Of Devices Which Are Sync Together And Give Optimum Accuracy In Measurement .
Then We Have To Design A Gui System Which Are Link Together With Some Communication System Such As Lan System / Ethernet cable
At last We Connect All The Input With The System To Get The Result On A Single Screen Which Is Our Desire Objective.
Benefits of the ProjectThe main benefit of our project is to provide safety to a person who monitors the energy meters. With this project anyone can monitor those meters by sitting at any safe place away from the feeders.
The scope of this project is vast we can design a system according to user need with cost effective or process effective components used in power ditribution system and power transmission systems.
According to industries the method most suitable system for them is them is the moderate one with cost effective and process effective, As well a their maintenance cost should be less.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe collected data will be used to plot graphs through which we can easily identify faults at every specific time and the specific fault value will be highlighted.
