Introduction:
Real Time Students Bus Tracking System is a system developed on Android Platform using java programming language. It is based on client-server technology along with the use of database. One Android user (Bus Driver) sends real time location of the bus with additional date and time information to the server. The information provided by that user is stored in the database of the server. And other android users(student) can get the information through the server.
So in summary, our system handles all the data about current location of bus and by using this data the real time tracking of bus can be done and this information is then given to remote user who want to know the real time bus information. For development purpose some technologies like GPS (Global Positioning System) and Google maps are used. The system includes server-client based application, which gives real time location of bus on Google Maps.
Problem Statement:
However, over the years, many issues occurred such as the time management of the bus transportation is decrease due to the environment factors.
In university students are often late to class because they don’t know the current location of the bus and can’t estimate the time arrival of bus and time for them to get prepared.
Proposed Solution:
In this Project, we are going to develop an application platform to provide solutions to the above discussed problems. This platform will provide complete information about:

After analyze project nex step is to design the project. Design step may also cotain coding for the project.
Next we implement the coding and prepare an android application for the problem which is explain in analysis phase.
After the implementation of project we will test the solution so that we wil know that the project fulfilll the requirments or not.
This project wil help for the students to overcome the concern of going into the university by reliable way.
University will also be benefited by knowing all the information of their buses include location etc.
