RC based Autonomous Electric Vehicle
Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryIn today’s world the majority transport through cars. Talking about this we can see many people who could not drive the car or they hesitate to drive a car. There are some cases also where handicapped people have difficulties to drive the car So, we have aimed to design a vehicle for handicapped people. In this vehicle we have introduced an autonomous control through RC (remote controlled). The vehicle will have both types of features that is the manual and autonomous driving based on RC. The person using the car selects the mode for driving that he/she wants and the car will drive according to the selected mode.
Project ObjectivesThe aim is to design an RC based autonomous electric vehicle, which is for handicapped people and other people as well to drive the car easily.
- OBJECTIVE#1 To design a light weighted car.
- OBJECTIVE#2 To control breaks and accelerator of designed car
- OBJECTIVE#3To convert it on autonomous and manual RC.
OBJECTIVE#4Test this vehicle over the roads
Project Implementation Method| Our project is based on making and RC-based autonomous electric car, for this, first we design a light weighted model of the car and then implement this model and work to contrition its breaks and accelerators of the designed car. Then we move towards converting this hardware of thvehicle into a model where it has both features of manual driving. A second feature-based based autonomous vehicle. The test of the vehicle will; be done on the roads. Fig 1

In today’s world driving a car is easy but when we think about handicapped people or those people who don’t know how to drive a car so the RC-based Autonomous Electric Car will be helpful in these types of situations and it provides benefit to handicapped and other people.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableOur final product is the Automatic Car which navigates through the use of remote control on the roads of MUET. It takes or receives signals transmitted from the remote control or transmitter and then moves the vehicle in that particular direction
