QR CODE BASED ENTRY AND EXIT CONTROL SYSTEM
Project Area of Specialization Software EngineeringProject SummaryIn this project, a QR Code-based Entry and Exit control system is designed to verify and identify the students by using the Latest QR code technology. The system will help the admins' clerks to store and check the hostel students' records and the QR codes on their student card which will verify the student’s identity and status of his details about hostel fees and dues. The system is designed using android studio IDE, android SDK(Software Development Kit), java language, XML, QR Code Technology, and firebase database. Using this system a security guard does not need to check students' identity cards manually. This application solves this problem by using QR code technology for the authentication of incoming students in the SAU hostels. In this project, a QR Code-based Entry and Exit control system is designed to verify and identify the students by using the Latest QR code technology. Project ObjectivesThe main objective of this ting “QR CODE-BASED ENTRY AND EXIT CONTROL SYSTEM” is to provide identification and verification of students by using the latest QR Code Technology to enter the valid student in the hostel. This thing plays a very important role for admins clerks to store and check data remotely.
Project Implementation Method 1. Tools Used In Project- STUDIO IDE
- Studio is the official integrated development environment (IDE) for Google's Android operating system, built on JetBrains' IntelliJ IDEA software and designed specifically for Android development. It is available for download on Windows, macOS, and Linux-based operating systems or as a subscription-based service in 2020. It is a replacement for the Eclipse Android Development Tools (E-ADT) as the primary IDE for native Android application development. Android Studio was announced on May 16, 2013, at the Google I/O conference. It was in the early access preview stage starting from version 0.1 in May 2013, then entered the beta stage starting from version 0.8 which was released in June 2014. The first stable build was released in December 2014, starting from version 1.0. On May 7, 2019, Kotlin replaced Java as Google's preferred language for Android app development. Java is still supported, as is C++.
- is based on the IntelliJ IDEA, a Java integrated development environment for software, and incorporates its code editing and developer tools.
- support application development within the Android operating system, Android Studio uses a Gradle-based build system, emulator, code templates, and Github integration. Every project in Android Studio has one or more modalities with source code and resource files. These modalities include Android app modules, Library modules, and Google App Engine modules.
- Studio uses an Instant Push feature to push code and resource changes to a running application. A code editor assists the developer with writing code and offering code completion, refraction, and analysis. Applications built-in Android Studio are then compiled into the APK format for submission to the Google Play Store.
- software was first announced at Google I/O in May 2013, and the first stable build was released in December 2014. Android Studio is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux desktop platforms. It replaced Eclipse Android Development Tools (ADT) as the primary IDE for Android application development. Android Studio and the Software Development Kit can be downloaded directly from Google. &l
- We have to create an android application that provides the facility to identify and verify the student identity cards by using QR code technology.
- Java is very much reliable, robust, and platform-independent and it is used all over the world.
- Anyone can use it easily due to its format that meets the user's needs.
- Mobile Applications are friendly for users.
- By using this app SAU admins clerks store and check the hostels students record easily.
Maintaining security in hostels is a sophisticated and time-consuming process because of a repeatable process every day and it’s a waste of time and its makes irritation for clerks and security guards or security in charge. Checking students' records physically is a disturbing period for admins clerks. We point out these and create an app for resolving these issues” QR CODE-BASED ENTRY AND EXIT CONTROL SYSTEM” in this app we use QR Code Technology to identification and verification students' records due to QR Code it is easy to store data in the student identity card. This app also helps the admins' clerks to store data remotely.
