With advancement in technology the size of the IC chip decrease and the number of transistors increase thus there are millions of transistors on a single IC chip. It became very difficult to design such a complex circuit manually in other words we can say that design of such advance IC chip become impossible. Therefore we need a printed circuits for designing different electronic equipment. Thus to design a printed circuits we need an automated machine. XY mechanism is an automated machine used for designing printed circuits. XY mechanism has add new competence and appearance to technology advancement. This proposal presents a cost effective and a very accurate solution for design of different electronics circuits using this automated control machine (XY mechanism).
As technology is advancing day-by-day and the circuits of electronics devices is becoming complex and more difficult or something impossible to design manually. Therefore we need an automated machine for the design of such complex circuits. This automated system eliminate errors. Using X-Y mechanism we can print antennas circuit, RFID circuit and other electronics circuit on flexible substrates like clothes, plastics, woods which no other machine can design.
To design X-Y Mechanism we are using ArbotiX-M Robcontroller. The ArbotiX-M Robcontroller is called the heart of Interbotix Robot and is used as advance controller for DYNAMIXEL based actuators. The two Dynamixel AX-12A Robot Actuator are controlled by ArbotiX-M Robcontroller. The AX-12A robot servo has the ability to track its speed, temperature, shaft position, voltage, and load. A metallic plate is use on which we place the substrates on which the circuit is to design. Two nozzle are above the plate one has conductive ink and the other has non-conducting inks. The two motor are used to move the plate along x-axis and y-axis. The plate is moving along the x-axis and y-axis with the help of belts. The motors are control by the controller. The desired circuit is design using matlab. The matlab commands are transfer to the ArbotiX-M Robcontroller. The ArbotiX-M Robcontroller control the motors thus the plate move in the desired direction drawing the circuit on flexible substrates Using subsequent printing mechanism and conductive and non-conducting inks mechanism. X-Y Mechanism provides us an easy way of designing electronics circuits for different devices. We can design antenna circuit, sensor circuit on different flexible substrates.
Using X-Y mechanism with subsequent printing mechanism using conductive and non-conducting inks we can design different electronics circuits on flexible substrates like clothes, plastics, woods, ceramics, skins. It is difficult to design circuits of different electronics device like sensor circuit, RFID circuit, dictation circuit, antennas circuit etc. Using X-Y mechanism we can design circuit of all the above electronic devices.
In this project we are using ArbotiX-M Robcontroller. ArbotiX-M Robcontroller is an advanced control solution for BIOLOID and DYNAMIXEL based actuators. Dynamixel AX-12A Robot Actuator has the ability to track its speed, temperature, shaft position, voltage, and load. LiPo 6 V Battery Rechargeable Batteries is used for power supply to the system. Two nozzels are used one has conductive ink and the other has non-conducting inks. Using conductive and non-conducting inks we can design different electronics circuits on flexible substrates like clothes, plastics, woods, ceramics, skins. matlic plate is used on which we palce a flexible substrates on which to print a circuit. belts are used for plate moment along x and y axis.
