This project is create a prepaid vending machine which can provide an easy load (balance) to a user. A machine which can install at various location like universities, malls, hospitals and such places where network communication shops are not available at nearest. A user can access it easily instead of searching and finding out a shop. It can be most help full at such moment when there is emergencies and the user is out of easy load, so user can recharge their mobile account easily by just one click. The user have options to enter any desired amount for prepaid loading or subscribe any bundles/cards. We have five mobile service providers in Pakistan (Jazz, Warid, Ufone, Telenor and Zong).

Project Objectives

The prepaid charging service is constantly evolving and offers various technologies such as prepaid cards and related technology today is an e-loading business, which is famous for its fast and economical way of charging mobile phones. The proposed design is an automatic way to provide prepaid services using an electronic download activity that allows users to take advantage of the benefits. A digital e-load vending machine, it is a small self-supporting physical structure that displays information and provides the service, which must be unmanned and operate in 24/7 mode. It uses the latest GPRS technology to provide its end users with fast and efficient electronic downloads. This electronic charging machine with LCD touch screen adopts paper money.

Project Implementation Method

Step 1. Insert your money. (More than 50PKR).

Step 2. Touch the LCD touch screen to display the menu. This will prompt you to choose the language between English or Urdu. Various mobile services will appear on the screen, click on the prepaid mobile phone to download e-load transactions.

Step 3. Enter your mobile number and click OK. another menu will appear on the screen when the device detects your specific network, for example, jazz; It will display jazz services; select the cellular network in which you are located.

Step 4. A brief description of the transaction will be displayed. Check and verify that all the information is correct, and then click OK. Otherwise, you can click the Back button to delete and edit the information, or click the Cancel button to stop the transaction (or if you want to start over). Remember that in any case, an error in the information you have confirmed is not the fault of the machine or the system.

Step 5. Select the amount for downloading (it must be more than 50 PKR), for example, 100 PKR loads. Use the numeric keypad on the screen.

Step 6. After you have entered the correct amount and the machine has accepted it, "Transaction completed" will now be written. Thank you for using our service! Wait a few seconds to a minute for the download confirmation to arrive on your mobile phone. It should not take long. If your shipment does not arrive immediately, click on the customer service icon on the electronic download display.

Benefits of the Project

The aim of the research is to develop a vending machine that will help people working in the prepaid industry of overcharging to automate the traditional method, which is also practiced now, if we say so. This project will help traders to avoid or even eliminate the tedious task of entering the mobile number and the amount of rebooting, which in most cases is due to a mistake caused by negligence. There will be room for the expansion of the franchise, since the device has the appropriate hardware, and the manufactured device can be placed anywhere. This device will be a standalone prepaid overload machine. This will further expand the horizons of entrepreneurs through the publication. The prepaid download service is only available to users of the Jazz, Warid, Ufone, Telenor and Zong networks. The amount of the prepaid download that can be purchased is limited to 50, 100, 150 and 200 PKR. One limitation is that the user cannot use the same machine to load the same number for 30 minutes and is limited to three incorrect input attempts.

Each Franchisee has a web portal to manage his or her E-load Machine/s. With it, they can check the current status of their E-load franchise/s. Data that can be retrieved include the following: amount, timing and breakdown of collections, timing and amount of deposits, estimated daily and within a period sales, current cash and available wallet of the machine.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The purpose of this project is create a prepaid vending machine which can provide an easy load (balance) to a user. A user can access it easily instead of searching and finding out a shop. It can be most help full at such moment when there is emergencies and the user is out of easy load, so user can recharge their mobile account easily by just one click. The user have options to enter any desired amount for prepaid loading or subscribe any bundles/cards. We have five mobile service providers in Pakistan (Jazz, Warid, Ufone, Telenor and Zong). In which we are going to use microcontroller, GPS modules to connect the device from hardware. Additionally we are using OTP code service for security purpose, in which user received the OTP code from service provider when they enter their number to get load.

 We are using agile methodology to develop this software and tool is NetBeans.
