Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryWe are designing a automated IOT Based and remotely monitored and controlled Fish Tank, Capable of operating with minimum human interaction. Major features of this project are the Automatic water change, fish feeding and remote monitoring of all the parameters. The parameters include feed level, water temperature, pH value, Turbidity. Automatic Fish Care System will be accessed through the mobile application. The purpose for designing this system is to minimize human efforts and errors, and ensuring proper care of the aquatic life. This project is Wifi based and data can be send and received by mobile application.
Project ObjectivesObjective are projects is to solve problem face by people who owns aquarium commercially or domestically. Aquatic animal lie is disturb due to lack of maintainace and usally results in loss of precious life and these are often quite expensive too. So this problem can be handled by fish care system. Commercially the aquarium which are sold in shops are not maintain properly and when water change is required is quite time consuming so due to our system it is on smart phone and can be controlled from smart phone so less time consuming and effective method. When we look domestically this can be used in homes, offices, hospitals, restaurants and schools where aquariums are used for decoration purpose and it will make work fun and effective.
Project Implementation MethodAutomated fish care system can be implemented as roof of the aquarium and it will have controller and all the thing which are used in aquarium are place inside the roof. It can also be implemented on used aquarium. System can also be shaped for the purpose of to be use in fish farming. LCD is outside to show features of water parameters and two outlet one for input and other for output. Feeder used can 3d printed and customizable according to need. Feeder can a product also that can be connected to system. All the devices are removable and can be change get damage.
Benefits of the Project1. Cost effective method to maintain good life of aquatic animals.
2. Controlled and automated feeding so don’t have to remember whether feeded or not.
3. Water change on just click from smart phone.
4. Control led lights and air pump from smart phone.
5. It can work on data so can be controlled from any where in the world.
Data of Turbidity, PH, temperature and feed level will given to arduino and Arduino will display it on LCD.
Then we would interface all the sensors along with a WIFI module and we would program it with a Arduino Uno.
The same data will be send to cloud of Blynk and data will be shown on mobile application .
Due to this all the parameters required for the monitoring of fresh water for aquatic animals would be checked, timely feed and controlling of outputs will be through the mobile application.
If the water gets polluted and is not clear you will get notify and the process of filtration will happen on a single click until our required water parameters would be achieved and maintained.
Changing of water through solenoid valve and flow sensor.
We can change water with the help of Blynk application.
