Project Area of Specialization Shared EconomyProject SummaryOur project is Android based application and we are providing this application to home-based entrepreneurs who wish to earn money by selling their foods. This application is also very effective for those who are far from their homes and want to eat healthy and homemade foods. By using this application customers can interact directly with the home-based entrepreneurs and can order food by using this application interface.
This application is like foodpanda as they are covering the business community like restaurant but the difference is that we are covering local community like home-based entrepreneurs.
Project Objectives- To provide proper platform for home-based entrepreneur to sell their food and earn money.
- To provide customers and most importantly for those people who are far away from their homes healthy and homemade food.
- To increase efficiency and improve services provided to the customers through better application of technology in daily operations.
- To be able to stand out from competitors in food service industry.
- Increase speed of service, sales volume and customer satisfaction".
- The Android food ordering application has two section – the client android application and server web admin plane.
- Open the android project in Android Studio, make sure you have latest version of android, tools and extras.
- This online application enables the end users to register online, select the food from the e-menu card, read the E-menu card and order food online. By just selecting the food that the user want to have. The results after selecting the food from the E-menu card will directly appear in the screen near the Chef who is going to cook the food for you.

Chef will provide with each and every description about cooked food items, their prices and pictures of that food items.
Once the order is placed and confirmed the Sheff will bake and deliver to the customer. The customer will receive the order and pay his/her bill at the time of receiving package.
This application is helping food ordering to maintain the stock and cash flows and there are more functionalities, like.

- Online ordering system that we are proposing here, greatly simplifies the ordering process for both the customer and the home-based entrepreneur System presents an interactive and up-to-date menu with all available options in an easy to use manner. Customer can choose one or more items to place an order which will land in the Cart. Customer can view all the order details in the cart before checking out. At the end, customer gets order confirmation details. Once the order is placed it is entered in the database and retrieved in pretty much real time.
- The motivation for designing this application came because many of the housewife’s who have an interest in cooking and wants to earn money by selling different food items, for those women there is not any platform so we provide an application for those housewives.
- The motivation also comes from those people who wish to eat healthy and hygienic homemade food and they are far away from their homes so by this application they order homemade food and enjoy that meal.
This will be the revolutionary idea in online food ordering system that we are providing in our application. This project is online food ordering mobile application.
With the rapid development of information technology, Mobile application have been increasing in recent years.

This application will let the customer to get the home-made food with ease and at their doorstep. This application will also provide a platform for those handicap females who are willing to work at their home but they did not find a proper way/platform to present their work. This application will be provided to customers and also the female (Sheff’s) by which a customer can pick up a variety of food products from App_Interface and Chef will provide with each and every description about cooked food items, their prices and pictures of that food items.

For developing we use Android Studio and for backend database we use wampserver.
For interface design we write XML ocde and we also use drag and drop options and the main work is in jaa and php files.
