Uncontrolled cases can cause blindness, kidney failure, and other serious conditions even death. According to the WHO data of 2016 said as many as 250,000 people were dying due to heart diseases in Pakistan annually which was 19 percent of the total deaths countrywide but in just three years, the WHO has found a whopping increase by 29 percent of total deaths due to heart diseases, which is around 406,870 per year. Around 46 people are dying of heart disease in Pakistan every hour. We will be doing predictions using AI and machine learning to learn and train machine to be efficient enough to tell that the person has diabetes or any heart disease. This will be done by collecting data from the user and the symptoms of the person. It's estimated that up to 70% of people with pre-diabetes go on to develop type 2 diabetes. Fortunately, progressing from pre-diabetes to diabetes isn't inevitable. Although there are certain factors you can't change such as your genes, age, or past behaviors, there are many actions you can take to reduce the risk of heart diseases and diabetes. If the person is going through diabetes or any heart disease then our project will be telling the level of it and the prevention to cure it. Also, our application will help the patient in finding the best doctor in the city and it will be having the data of all the best heart and diabetic doctors. A patient will also get the basic knowledge of the particular disease and measures to prevent it
Project ObjectivesOur project will be telling the person if he/she has symptoms of diabetes and heart diseases or not if the person is diagnosed with it. Everyone who has diabetes or any heart problem should be seen at least once every six months by a specialist. He or she should also be seen periodically by other members of the diabetes and heart diseases treatment team, including a nurse educator, and a dietitian who will help develop a meal plan for the individual. Our project will mainly focus on the following objectives:
1. Develop a system that predicts diabetes and heart condition of the person by symptoms of the person and previously collected dataset.
2. To tell the person how to prevent diabetes and heart diseases.
The diabetes data and heart data containing information about Karachi Dataset of Diabetes and heart diseases, Karachi has been under continuous study due to the high incidence rate of Diabetes in every age group. The dataset was originally collected by two Students of PAF-KIET University, consisting of diagnostic measurements pertaining to every age of people. It contains information of 7066 people, of which 1275 people were diagnosed with Diabetes. The information available includes 6 variables, such as age, BMI, Blood Pressure, HBA1C, etc.
Benefits of the ProjectDiabetes and heart diseases prediction project allow checking your diabetic condition as well as your heart conditions just by using readings and it will automatically predict that if the patient has diabetes or any heart problems it is based on machine learning process using algorithms and by using previous diabetic and heart patient’s datasets. It tells the patient that if he/she has diabetes or any heart problems by 0 or 1
