Health is most important aspect of a person’s life which effects the mental and physical well-being of a person and people are facing many issues due to regular based diseases and to go to clinics and hospitals for tests and medicines or reports etc. for which the private hospitals charged a lot. Local hospitals have been treating poor people for free but they are not able to serve many people at a time due to lack of resources. Healthcare in Pakistan currently ranks 154th out of 195 countries in terms of overall system performance. The increasing rate of health issues in Pakistan is alarming. Furthermore, as the world is moving towards technology there is no proper application for people to measure early disease if they have any symptoms so they can take precautions to be safe from future problems. At Present, We searched and we have not found any application which targets this area of predicting diseases and recommend precautions. Most applications are based in that way that there are multiple diseases row wise select anyone check description and symptoms for that. Our main motive for building this app is to provide an ease to the people for not going out for a doctor consultation. No matter if they are not sure of disease they can predict disease by answering some questions asked by the application about their condition which will help in early detection and in Page 2 of 3 taking some precautions for cure.

Project Objectives

The purpose for this effort is to build a demo Application which will act as a web application, which is targeting all people to use for their ease. In this application if user don’t know the disease but having some symptoms he is not sure, he can first register into our application then the application will ask some questions and on the basis of the answers prediction will be made for which kind of disease the user maybe suffering of. Our App consist of multiple diseases which can be predict by answering the respective questions about symptoms. When the disease is predicted our application will provide its description to the user for more information and will also recommends the user some basic and important precautions will be effective for the user for preventing some major disease. Provide an effective interface to the user so they can easily use the application without any flaw by just giving answers of questions and checking the disease, its description and also the recommended precautions to take. There will be an admin panel in which admin can see the real time information of the users their diseases which will be displayed in the form of dashboards / KPIs. So the admin can look over the insights of the real data. The basic purpose of this app is for early detection of diseases and provide some precautions so the user can take care and preventing for the disease to not get severe.

Project Implementation Method

Application (just as a Web App) will be build using Anvil Works and Python which will be having all of the interfaces of user and admin modules.

For User Panel we have taken dataset from kaggle verified the data from doctor, after data cleaning we build a Voting Classifier Model and then the predictions were verified from the doctor. We have deployed that model on IBM Watson Studio and also have verified some basic precautions which will be shown to the user against the disease from the doctor. Apart from this we have use Visualizations in Python to build Admin dashbaord to get insights of the real users data saved in firebase of our app.

Benefits of the Project

User can predicted disease ion the basis of symptoms if not sure and by seeing precautions can check what to do or if to consult a doctor.

Secondly, on admin dashboard there will be multiple graphs providing insightful information so that admin can take actions according to that. (For example: Highest Ratio of diseases in Children at Karachi Central District, so the admin can organize some health camps or etc).

Many types of information can be taken from the graphs.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Web Application in which user can predict top 2 diseases on the basis of symptoms and check precautions and admin can get insights from our data and act according to that.
