Because persistent organic pollutants in the marine environment attach to the surface of plastic debris, floating plastics in the oceans have been found to accumulate pollutants and transport them through ocean currents. A single plastic bottle can last upto 450 years. SeaBin is contribution towards a green and clean PAKISTAN, as it will collect floating garbage (plastic, micro plastics, buds etc), and will seprate the oil from the water as well. It will work 24/7 to clean oceans. As this sort of solution is not available in Pakistan, so we are working to make our ports clean, which are a big source of income for us.
Project Objectives- It minimizes the human efforts made to collect the rubbish from the water bodies around us.
- Does not need any kind of attention or additional worker while it works.
- Minimum energy usage.
- Keeps the water bodies free of garbage and other floating and suspended debris
- Highly economical and easy construction.
- Totally environment friendly and reusable.
Seabin is a combination of 2 portions. First one is working to separate the garbage from the ocean. It consists of a Stainless-Steel bin, Linear Actuator, Ultrasonic Sensor, Suction Pump, Relays and AC supply of 220V and a DC supply of 5V. The second part consists of a DC Gear motor, conveyer belt, Motor driver, Acrylic sheet tank and a DC power supply. Arduino is controlling both systems (skimmer & bin)

The basic components of the project are:
- Submersible pump (1Hp)
- Linear Actuator (130Kg)
- SeaBin Tank (S.S circular bin)
- DC motor for skimmer (12V DC)
- Relays (4 relay module 10A, 220V)
- Power Supply (24V,7.5A)
- Linear Bearing (To lift bin up and down)
- S.S rods for frame (To mount the binb)
- Control Panel Encolsure (In which all the circuitry is enclosed)
- Conveyor belt (which will seprate oil from water)
