No need of manpower during power generation.
Project ObjectivesThe major objective of this project is to style and implement such a system which is self-sufficient and a non-conventional due to harness and produce pollution free power to support the generation and power distribution sector. The system should be easily installed, durable, cost effective and easily excess ready to all.
Project Implementation MethodFor the construction of the power generating speed breaker, we have to firstly work on the implementation and construction of the hardware. Here we are making the speed breaker, Whenever the vehicle is allowed to pass over the dome it gets pressed downwards, then the springs that are attached to the dome are compressed and the rack, which is attached to the bottom of the dome moves downward in reciprocating motion. Since the rack has teeth connected to gears, there exists conversion of reciprocating motion of rack into rotary motion of gears but the two gears rotate in opposite direction. A flywheel is mounted on the shaft whose function is to regulate the fluctuation in the energy and to make the energy uniform. So, the shafts will rotate with certain rpm. These shafts are connected through a belt drive to the dynamos, which converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The conversion will be proportional to the traffic density. Dimensions of speed breaker are Height: 27-inch, Width: 18-inch, Length: 36 inch The material used in construction of speed breakers is steel.
For the production of electricity by the system is incredibly simple. There are an oversized number of automobiles running on the road. These automobiles check variety of speed breakers present on the road. The vehicle has a spread of weight like trucks, buses, cars, and two wheelers therefore whenever they're passing over a speed breaker lots of energy is wasted. So, when the vehicle will come on the speed breaker due to its weight the highest portion of the speed breaker moves down wards and therefore the shaft consisting of the U portion rotated during a particular direction. thanks to this rotation of the shaft the sprocket will rotate and also the rotational energy from one shaft is transferred to the opposite shaft with the assistance of chain drive mechanism. This rotates the gear on the underside shaft, which successively will help to rotate the gear placed on motor.
This rotation of the gear starts the generator and generates electricity which might be stored within the battery and might be converted in A.C. On the opposite hand when the vehicles have omitted the bump the highest will retain its position with the assistance of the spring provide and also the chain drive will rotate within the reverse direction without rotating the gears as just in case of the bicycle where the bicycle moves ahead when force is applied on the pedal. But when the pedal is rotated within the reversed direction the bicycle moves within the reverse direction.

The proposed system will generate the pollution free power which doesn’t require any fossil fuel which is a non-renewable source of energy and no transportation of fuel would be required to run the system. Furthermore, the energy produced by the proposed system would be available all year around with no power shortage and very minimal generation cost as compare to the other conventional and renewable power generation sources. As the given system has to be installed on the streets and roads, so it doesn’t require a lot of area, no need of any kind of manual work during the production and obstruction to traffic is seen. In case of any kind of malfunction or problem it is very easy to perform maintenance and replace it at a very minimal cost.
This system is very useful for the environment, as it does not consume any diesel or petrol for the production of the power. This system produces green energy which is very important for the environmental point of view and even for the people living in that environment. This system does not pollute the air like other methods of the system. This system can be implemented on different areas, where ever there are roads and is the need of speed breaker no matter if it is small or big. This system is very beneficial for the environment as these days it’s very main point to be noticed regarding the pollution of environment. All other power generation methods are mostly working on diesel engine which are a big cause of the air pollution, where this proposed system is unlike those methods and very environmentally friendly method and does not harm or pollute the air and neither creates noise pollution.

And thus, electrical power will be generated which might be utilized in lightning of the buildings.
