project summary:
garbage is one of the major issues of pakistan and to overcome it on a smaller scale we want to build a product based project in which we will take solid inorganic waste and produce electricity through it by means of burning it. this product can be installed in any society, institute or industry that produces large amount of solid waste.
objective:
our objective is to get rid of garbage dumps outside any society or organization for which we will intake the solid waste organization is producing and provide electricity to them.
we are aiming towards 1.5kw to 2kw output power with 220v with 4 bar steam pressure.
project implementation method:
solid waste will burn in the furnace that will boil water in the boiler to produce steam and with more or less 4 bar steam pressure we will rotate the turbine fan at a speed rate of at which output 220v can be generated, the motor coubled with the fan will produce AC voltages, ahead of the motor there will be a converter cuircuit that will convert AC volts into DC voltages to charge the batteries.
benefits of project:
1) getting rid and making garbage waste useful for the society.
2) a product that can be give startup to entrepreneurs.
3) not much pollution produced because we are filtering out the carbons by means of air filters
technical details :
boiler: boiler is build with MS steel and has capacity to produce 4 bar pressure.
tubine: turbine fan is coupled with the motor projected to rotate at 2000-2700 rpm.
motor: single phase 1.5kw to 2kw AC motor will be used that will produce 220v at the output
air filters: 12v dc fans will be attached with the filters to filter out carbon , will act as exhaust to the system
