Protection and automatic fault detection of an industrial induction motor using plc and sensors play an important role in the industrial profit or loss sence.If you know the fault and reason of that fault you can easily solve it and resume your industrial work in no time.
If fault occurs the motor will stop to avoid the matrial damage and fault message will be on desktop screen.Electrician will get that message and will solve it in no time.

To do this project we have divided our work in four major parts as we are four students in this task.
Part-1 includes the literature research on this project with the help of previous articles and work done on related projects.
Part-2 includes the simulation of the project on suitable software to verify the working of our project as per designed circuit diagram.
Part-3 includes the hardware implementation of the project according to the working circuit diagram of the project that is verified by software simulation.
Part-4 includes the written work, presentations slides, reports and thesis etc.
In final year project my group is doing protection and fault analysis of the induction motor.This project have great scope in industry as it includes the PLC(programable logic controller) to control the motor.The PLC controllers and three phase induction motors are widely using in industries and have many applications in power industrial work.
This project will have the given deliverables i.e.Far superior repeatability,reduced machine downtime,reduced fault and increased accuracy ,Producing good quality product,increase industrial profit,Operating time is reduced,Continuous production and increasing the production rate.
