Piezo Smart shoes
The goal of this project is to create a smart shoe capable of generating electricity by using piezo crystals embedded in shoes. During walking or jogging, the stretching of sole of the shoe will compress a piezoelectric plate to generate electricity. It will provide the facility to produce and store electricity in the rechargeable battery. Furthermore shoe will also calculate footsteps, heart rate and blood pressure & on the basis of blood pressure & weight mobile application will display daily diet plan. It will monitor all the measurements using Android App. This product will facilitate to charge a small electronic devices such as mobile phone, iPads etc. Thus piezoelectric power generation can be a good alternative for fossil fuels. It is clean, cheap and eco-friendly source of energy. Android app will be available on app store. The project will be beneficial for hikers, tourists, law enforcement agencies, health-conscious persons and students on the go to avoid low battery of devices during the commute.
Product will be based on IOT theme, which merges the hardware and software both.The proposed IoT based system will operate in two real-time applications. ? Smart Shoe ? Mobile Charging system.We are also making a mobile application, this will give the user unique, realistic experience of energy usage free of cost with health and diet details. The application will take data from the sensors which are bend in the shoes,and generate the diet chart on the basis of sensors data.
Methodology
Agile scrum model will be used in this project.Scrum is the most commonly used sub domain of the agile methodology, which has quickly expanded to handling big, complicated projects that might have otherwise taken a lot of time to finish.
Feasibility Plan
This system can be used at domestic level as well as at the high industrial level. It will implement at small level for power generation using keyboard and charging small gadgets like mobile phone, power banks etc. And also it show outputs on Android App. Because this shoe will be connected with Android App and it will display status of battery like charged percentage, amount of footsteps, heart rate and blood pressure while walking with it.
