Project Objectives

The main objective of this specification is to support the automated tracking of donations from the initial ordering of a donation for a needy person through to the receiving of the donation and cross checking of the medicine.

Developing a system that enables every person with a smart phone to donate their excess medicines to needy that can not afford.

In cases of emergency instead of travelling long distances someone with the required medicine nearby can easily provide.

To maintain continuous medical supply in catastrophic situations like COVID-19.

In future this project will be expanded to register different organizations (NGOs) to contribute in community.

Project Implementation Method

This mobile application project is going to be implement using Flutter Framework (Android/iOS). And instead of firebase we are going to use MySQL as per university requirement that we cannot use firebase in our FYPs. 

MySQL server will be used as SQL Engine and database.

Android Studio is used as IDE.

For prototyping Adobe XD is used

Pakistan is not a developed country and the World Bank (WB) has estimated that poverty in country has increased from 4.4 per cent to 5.4 per cent in 2020, as over two million people have fallen below the poverty line.

With the increase in rate of diseases and people not affording the high prices of medicines whether in private hospitals or Government hospitals that do not have the complete facilities.

Large-scale emergencies dramatically affect survival and health of populations, making support from humanitarian and development organizations necessary for immediate relief. The response often involves the provision of medicines in the form of donations. While donating medicines may appear to be a simple and effective solution.

It can be very beneficial to user because as per the current situation of Covid19 it is very important to follow governments rule and regulations.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Once registered the users can donate the medicines by providing accurate medicine details.

The system has the authority to block the users if they raise a request to donate improper or expired medicines.

The system will maintain a record of donated & available medicines.

The users can raise a request to donate or avail the medicines. The system will find the nearest possible donator.

The user can search for intended medicine from a search bar.

This module is for the user (donor/receiver) registration. User have to register through their email address.

Login

User must login using their email and password. User must be registered before logging into the system.

Member Details

This module focuses on user’s details such as name, address phone number.

Search Medicine

User can search for specific medicine.

Make Donation

Once a user is registered, he/she can donate.

Make Request for Donation

Once a user is registered, he/she can request for donation.

Dynamic Location

User can select his/her current location or can select some specific location.

Recent requests and donation

User can see recent requests and donations.

Change Passwords

User can change his/her password.
